From Michelle Malkin's Hot Air vent -- NBC television has announced they will strip any religious references in the recently-licensed for broadcast Veggie Tales. According to Ms. Malkin, the franchise has been around since the early 90's and has built its brand on being explicitly Christian. But no more, thanks to the morons at NBC, the same lefties who are planning to air the 'Madonna crucifies herself' concert sometime in the near future, apparently uncut.

Two weeks ago, VeggieTales made its debut on national television. After 13 years and 50 million videos sold, many people are familiar with Bob & Larry and their brand of "Sunday Morning Values, Saturday Morning Fun!" But putting VeggieTales on TV has got some people asking, "Hey, what's the big idea?"

Some think that because of its teaching of Judeo-Christian values, VeggieTales should not be allowed on TV -- or at least should be restricted to a time slot or channel for religious programming. Others feel that VeggieTales should be on TV and in the exact same format that is familiar to millions of families. Well, VeggieTales is on TV and is not in the same format as the DVDs -- and that's created a bit of a stir! Keep reading to hear how this all happened.

When we were presented with the opportunity to reach a mass television audience, we knew that certain religious references would not be allowed on a children's block under current TV network guidelines. And we recognized that we were not going to change the rules of network television overnight.

Sounds to me like the 'opportunity' to reach a mass television audience equals big dollars for the VT franchise. Sounds like somebody is selling out for those dollars.

Although I applaud their efforts in producing and growing the series, I don't think we can afford to back off any more!

The left has turned broadcast programming into a voice for their cause, they've removed anything decent and clean on television. Whatever happened to "Leave It To Beaver" and "Father Knows Best" or "My Three Sons?" Even the "Brady Bunch" had good wholesome values.

In light of this, "Can Big Idea continue to fulfill its mission of enhancing the spiritual and moral fabric of society through creative media?" became the question we had to answer. Can VeggieTales make a difference on Saturday morning? We think so.

Too many TV programs introduce kids to amoral and cynical behaviors that parents find unsuitable. Big Idea's VeggieTales, LarryBoy and 3-2-1 Penguins! are instead telling kids it's cool to stand by your principles, to tell the truth, to forgive others and a host of other valuable life lessons.

So-called childrens' networks like Disney produce garbage like "That's So Raven," about a teenage girl who frequently lies to her parents and friends to get her way, which usually involves a 'hot' boy. She rarely has any conscience, unless she's busted by someone, and then is forced to confess. I see this theme -- which is, of course, the legacy of lefties like Bill Clinton, lie until you get caught, and then continue to lie -- repeated again and again in children's television.

Recognizing that we are making a difference to Saturday morning TV by bringing programming that is "absent of bad and has a presence of good" to homes across America, would we still prefer to air the un-edited versions of VeggieTales on TV? Absolutely! It's there where we're able to share a Bible verse and encourage kids by telling them God made them special and He loves them very much. For now, we're hoping a new cross section of kids will fall in love with Bob & Larry, go deeper into VeggieTales and eventually fall in love with the God who made them. It's the same "big idea" we've worked on for over 13 years.

We are grateful for the overwhelming support from our fans that have grown up watching VeggieTales. Many of you have written to cheer us on -- we appreciate you! If the television ratings are any indication, we are finding a new audience of children who are enjoying our shows and hearing our message for the first time! Our thanks to NBC for helping bring VeggieTales to this new audience.

We proudly continue to serve the Christian community in many ways, including hundreds of books published, a 52-week Sunday School curriculum, our soon-to-be-released Bible storybook, and a continuing Vacation Bible School program. This November, Gideon: Tuba Warrior, a VeggieTales adventure based on the legendary biblical story of Gideon, releases on DVD. Please know our commitment to introducing kids to God continues.

I'm disappointed in the further selling out of Christianity. We should take a lesson from our fellow 'religion' -- islam -- and stand our ground. We should no longer tolerate the leftist media whittling away at our personal freedom of religion granted by the Constitution.

At least you won't see any Christian Extremists burning down NBC affiliates. Doesn't sound like a bad idea, tho, especially if they air the madonna concert. I might watch it if she crucifies Roseratu.

Islam = Religion of Peace? Riiiggghhhhtttt...

Daniel Pipes has an enlightening article in NY Sun 9/26, also posted on his website, entitled: "Intimidating the West, from Rushdie to Benedict." [NY Sun title: "A Look at Islamic Violence"]

In the article, Mr. Pipes chronicles six major events that have occurred since 1989, where the religion of peace™ has been set off by an incident with the west. Clear evidence that United States involvement in Iraq is not the cause of terrorism, but Islam itself is the cause.

• 1989 – Salman Rushdie's novel, The Satanic Verses prompted Ayatollah Khomeini to issue a death edict against him and his publishers, on the grounds that the book "is against Islam, the Prophet, and the Koran." Subsequent rioting led to over 20 deaths, mostly in India.
• 1997 – The U.S. Supreme Court refused to remove a 1930s frieze showing Muhammad as lawgiver that decorates the main court chamber; the Council on American-Islamic Relations made an issue of this, leading to riots and injuries in India.
• 2002 – The American evangelical leader Jerry Falwell calls Muhammad a "terrorist," leading to church burnings and at least 10 deaths in India.
• 2005 – An incorrect story in Newsweek, reporting that American interrogators at Guantánamo Bay, "in an attempt to rattle suspects, flushed a Qur'an down a toilet," is picked up by the famous Pakistani cricketer, Imran Khan, and prompts protests around the Muslim world, leading to at least 15 deaths.
• February 2006 – The Danish newspaper Jyllands-Posten publishes twelve cartoons of Muhammad, spurring a Palestinian Arab imam in Copenhagen, Ahmed Abdel Rahman Abu Laban, to excite Muslim opinion against the Danish government. He succeeds so well, hundreds die, mostly in Nigeria.
• September 2006 – Pope Benedict XVI quotes a Byzantine emperor's views that what is new in Islam is "evil and inhuman," prompting the firebombing of churches and the murder of several Christians.

Robert Spencer: Islamic Congressional Candidate in Minnesota has ties to CAIR, Approved of Hamas

By way of Jihad Watch, Robert Spencer's article at Front Page Magazine examines the connection to CAIR, Hamas and terrorism of Minnesota congressional candidate Keith Ellison.

Keith Ellison (D-MN) is shaping up to be the first-ever Muslim member of Congress, and the mainstream media is treating his candidacy as a huge human-interest story and a triumph of multiculturalism.

Of course, not all is rosy: the Monitor notes that “conservative bloggers” and Ellison’s Republican opponent, Alan Fine, have raised questions about Ellison’s alleged ties to the Nation of Islam, as well as about a number of unpaid parking tickets that led to the suspension of his drivers’ license. But the Monitor doesn’t mention the most troubling aspect of Ellison’s record: the support he has received from the Council on American Islamic Relations.

Journalist Joel Mowbray has been virtually the only journalist who has pursued this connection, exploring in a recent column “Mr. Ellison’s seemingly tight connection with Nihad Awad, co-founder of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), whom he met almost two decades ago at the University of Minnesota.” Mowbray reports that “Mr. Awad headlined a fundraiser last month that the campaign estimates netted $15,000 to $20,000, and in July, and it appears that CAIR’s co-founder bundled contributions totaling just over $10,000. (The campaign issued a terse denial on the latter point, though it refused to explain away overwhelming evidence to the contrary.)” Faced with this evidence, Ellison’s backers have “attempted to paint attacks on the candidate as overtly partisan or even bigoted. A Minneapolis Star Tribune columnist, for example, recently suggested that Mr. Ellison is under attack solely for being Muslim.”

More dhimmitude from the liberal media. Sigh. If we could only get them to connect the dots:

What is so troubling about Ellison’s connection with Awad and CAIR? Mowbray quotes the assessments of two leading Democrats: Senator Dick Durbin of Illinois has declared that CAIR “is unusual in its extreme rhetoric and its association with groups that are suspect.” New York Senator Charles Schumer, once said that CAIR “has ties to terrorism” and that Ellison’s supporter Awad has “intimate connections with Hamas.” Mowbray establishes the latter point from Awad’s own mouth, quoting his 1994 statement: “I’m in support of the Hamas movement.”

CIAR has a pattern of support for terrorist groups by not condeming them outright:

When did CAIR stop supporting Hamas? On Monday I searched the CAIR website for “Hamas.” There are three possible searches: News Briefs, Action Alerts, and Press Releases. Only News Briefs turned up anything at all: an old article from Haaretz attacking Ariel Sharon.

So if CAIR now condemns Hamas, where is it saying so? Just in the lower paragraphs of articles about other subjects? We can’t even get one press release about it? Not one Action Alert calling on Muslims everywhere to condemn Hamas?

Before Minnesotans elect Keith Ellison to Congress, they need to know the answers to these questions.

Indeed, Robert, we all need to know before we elect ANY muslim to elective office, unless we want to start the not-so-long march down the road to shar'ia and the new caliphate.

Who Should Apologize? Why, Roserferatu!

In an article published Sept. 26, Kirsten A. Powers at the American Prospect says the Pope is the wrong one apologizing for their remarks:

Rosie’s -- and apparently “The View” audiences’ -- fear of “radical Christians” makes clear they understand neither fundamentalist Christianity nor radical Islam. Whatever criticisms one can make of Pat Robertson and Jerry Falwell -- and there are many -- fundamentalist Christians are not flying planes into buildings in the name of God, nor are they plotting to blow up ten airplanes over the Atlantic Ocean. Radical Muslims are threatening and slaughtering “infidels” around the world. They murdered Theo Van Gogh and drove a member of the Dutch government into exile for their perceived slights against Islam. In Iraq, they recently kidnapped a Catholic priest and tortured him. They kidnapped and beheaded Wall Street Journal reporter Daniel Pearl. It was reported today that Safia Amajan -- a fierce critic of the Taliban's repression of women -- was murdered in the street in Afghanisan. It's believed she was targeted by Taliban militants because of their opposition to women taking part in politics and education.

In just the last few years, Islamic terrorists have targeted and murdered Westerners in the bombing of the Madrid subway; the bombing of the London underground; and the bombing of an Indonesian night club. They murdered almost 3,000 people on 9-11. They killed 240 U.S. Marines in Lebanon in 1983. In 1993, they bombed the World Trade Center, killing 17 and injuring more than a thousand people. In 2000, they bombed the USS Cole, killing 17 Americans.

Rosie’s beef with Christian opponents of gay marriage would presumably pale should she find herself living in many Islamic countries. Perhaps she missed former Iranian President Mohammed Khatami’s speech at Harvard recently saying that, “Homosexuality is a crime in Islam and crimes are punishable. And the fact that a crime could be punished by execution is debatable.” And he’s considered a reformer.

Kiera McCaffrey, director of communications for the Catholic League, contacted The American Prospect today requesting the right to republish the September 25 article by Kirsten A. Powers, “Who Should Apologize?”, in the November edition of Catalyst, the league’s monthly journal; the Powers piece was printed in the online edition of the magazine. Jahan Salehi, an agent for the publication, spoke to McCaffrey saying he would check out the Catholic League website and get back to her. After perusing our site, he said he would recommend honoring our request, noting, however, that officers at The American Prospect wanted time to consider the matter. Salehi asked if the Catholic League held the same teachings as the Church on issues like abortion, and McCaffrey said yes.

Shortly afterward, Salehi called back to say that our request was denied. He specifically said that it was the Catholic League’s stance on abortion and gay rights that accounted for the rejection.

Nice big tent they have over there at The Prospect. Wonder how this column ever got published in the first place, considering it doesn’t toe the line of dhimmitude.

Pentagon "Motivations of Muslim Suicide Bombers" briefing reaches the same conclusions as many, many others: They want to kill us because of their religion! Maybe they're finally beginning to connect the dots.

Dying while fighting the infidels in the cause of Allah reserves a special place and honor in Paradise. And it earns special favor with Allah.

Deabornistan Celebrates Ramadan with Heavy Hearts

DEARBORN, United States (AFP) - During what should be a joyous time of fellowship, worship and reflection, many Muslims streamed into the Islamic Center of America on the first night of Ramadan with heavy hearts.

Sick of the suspicious glances, slurs and false accusations of being terrorists, they feel like second-class citizens in their own country.

Their own country? There's not that much sand in Michigan.

"I feel comfortable at home but once I leave there, and leave my community, I feel like I'm in a whole different atmosphere right now," 18-year-old Zeinab Zahreldin, a freshman at the University of Michigan-Dearborn, told AFP late Saturday. "It's not at all comfortable."

The Detroit area has around 200,000 Muslims and the suburb of Dearborn has one of the highest concentrations of Arab-Americans in the United States. Businesses here post Arabic signs, most restaurants serve Halal meat, and Arabs are prominent in local politics.

But five years after the terrorist attacks of September 11, it seems like a new reason for anxiety and alienation comes every week. Most recently, it was Pope Benedict XVI's remarks linking Islam to violence.

Not to mention shooting Nuns in the back...

Before that was President George W. Bush's use of the term Islamofacists. And then there were the local college students arrested as terrorists because they bought pre-paid cell phones.

...or the plot to blow up airliners bound for the US...

"I have to pray real hard when I come to Ramadan, everything is so different now," said Ali Almuna, an Iraqi immigrant who moved to the United States 11 years ago. "The way the people look at us and treat us. There's a lot of discrimination. I've had bad language used toward me, my wife and kids. One day strangers called us terrorists. I didn't say anything, I just thought that was so sad."

Oh, I don't know why anyone would call them terrorists. Could it be, perhaps, their so-called 'religion' that promotes violence against kaffirs? Why doesn't he take responsbility and work to reform this cult of hate and oppression?

Instead, most continue to unquestioningly follow the hate speak of a 7th century pedophile warlord.

So sad. Perhaps they should welcome a true religion, a religion that celebrates life, that celebrates the son of God, the Prince of Peace, who gave up HIS life so that we may live? The same religion that gives us true commandments to live by, simple rules such as 'thou shalt not kill?'

I pray for their salvation every day. God help them (and us) if we can't reach them with the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.

From Debbie Schlussel (and other sites), owners of two trucking schools in the midwest have been indicted for allowing immigrants to illegally obtain their commercial driving licenses (CDL) for driving the big rigs. Looks like we got us a convoy:

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The operators of truck driving schools in Kansas City and southern Missouri conspired to help more than 70 Somali and Bosnian nationals illegally obtain commercial driver's licenses, federal prosecutors alleged Thursday.

Many of those students went on to obtain certification to haul hazardous materials on the nation's highways, authorities said in announcing the 62-count grand jury indictment charging 15 defendants with mail fraud, making a false writing and illegally causing identification documents to be produced...

And guess what their names where. Oh, I don't know, could it be... Satan? Not quite, they just work for him:

Information obtained by the Associated Press under Missouri's open records law indicated that more than 300 of about 520 people who did not train at the school but took the test there between May 2004 and December 2005 had names that could be Middle Eastern in origin.

The defendants included Ernest A. "Mustafa" White, 49, of Kansas City, who owned the Muslim Brothers and Sisters trucking company in Kansas City, Kan., and Howard E. Schneider, 39, of Overland Park, owner of H.E. Schneider Trucking Company and co-operator of Muslim Brothers, according to officials.

Prosecutors said the other defendants named in the indictment generally helped in the conspiracy by driving students to West Plains for testing or helping to arrange the fake tests. Those other defendants are:
Hiram C. Oliver, 33, Raytown; Osman Abdullahi, 30, a Somali citizen living in San Diego; Elias Mohamed, 25, Ahmed Muhidin Sharif, 27, Abdulfatah Osman Farah, 24, Abdirizak Abdi Mohamed, age unknown, and Yusuf Kalmole, 34, all citizens of Somalia living in Kansas City; Abdiwahab Mohamud Mohamed, 37, a Somali citizen living in Minneapolis; Adil Majlovic, 19, and Mersud Kajtazovic, 31, both citizens of Bosnia living in Kansas City; and Samir Hasanovic, 22, of Arnold, Mo.

Obviously, a case of ethnic profiling.

Why would Americans do such a thing? Sure, there's the lure of the money: the FBI said White was charging much more than the normal testing fee for his testing, so the program was quite lucrative for him. Here's the REAL reason:

e-Coli in Spinach -- the work of Terrorists, or an organic food disaster?

Posted on Yahoo answers, #11 answer to the question of whether the spinach e-coli infections could have been cause by terrorists. Probably the most complete answer I've seen to date:

Nope, not this time. Bioterrorism is a possibility and we should all be vigilant, but the contamination of spinach with pathogenic E. coli was not the work of terrorists. It was basically because people want "organic" raw food.

The rationale for buying organic food is that it is produced without chemical fertilizers. So that means that it is fertilized with manure. Cows, pigs, deer, sheep, horses and chickens may be infected with E. coli O157:H7 and not become ill. The manure may be used to fertilize food that is organically grown. Currently 1 woman died and 109 people have been hospitalized with hemolytic ureic syndrome (HUS) from eating organically grown spinach infected with E. coli O157:H7. E. coli O157:H7 has formerly been found on all types of produce including strawberries, lettuce and bean sprouts. Unpasturized fruit juices were the source of a large E. coli O157:H7 outbreak in 1996.

I personally do not buy organically grown food. If you feel that buying it will protect you from chemical fertilizers, then make sure that you thoroughly scrub, wash and rinse the fruits and vegetables. To be safe you should cook them as well. The bacteria can live not only on the leaves but also inside the leaves, stems and fruit so washing the outside is not sufficient.

The problem with bagged "pre-washed" packaged spinach and salads is that people tend to eat it right out of the bag without washing it again. That is not healthy. Raw food should be thoroughly washed, not just rinsed. Cooking does kill most pathogens.

For some people, especially young children, the elderly, pregnant women and people with weakened immune systems, foodborne illness can be very dangerous.

Foodborne illnesses are more common that most people think. Use a brush to scrub produce with firm or rough surfaces, such as oranges, cantaloupes, potatoes and carrots. You should always soak raw fruits and vegetables in chlorinated tap water for a few minutes and rub them to get them clean. Then rinse them under running tap water before you prepare and eat them . Any bacteria left-over will be killed by cooking.

At this time, Natural Selection Foods, LLC, of San Juan Bautista, California, is recalling all of its products that contain spinach in all the brands they pack with “Best if Used by Dates” of August 17, 2006 through October 1, 2006. The products were distributed to about 20 states and Mexico.

Natural Selection Foods, LLC brands include: Natural Selection Foods, Pride of San Juan, Earthbound Farm, Bellissima, Dole, Rave Spinach, Emeril, Sysco, O Organic, Fresh Point, River Ranch, Superior, Nature’s Basket, Pro-Mark, Compliments, Trader Joe’s, Ready Pac, Jansal Valley, Cheney Brothers, Coastline, D’Arrigo Brothers, Green Harvest, Mann, Mills Family Farm, Pro*Act, Premium Fresh, Snoboy, The Farmer’s Market, Tanimura & Antle, President’s Choice, Cross Valley, and Riverside Farms. These products include spinach and any salad with spinach in a blend, both retail and food service products. Products that do not contain spinach are not part of this recall.

Another company, River Ranch, of California, is currently recalling its spring mix containing spinach. River Ranch obtained bulk spring mix containing spinach from Natural Selections. The following brands are involved: Farmers Market, Hy Vee, Fresh and Easy.

In the past, contaminated seeds, irrigation water, runoff from feed lots and flooding have contributed to E. coli outbreaks traced to alfalfa sprouts, lettuce, spinach, parsley, and other fresh produce. E. coli O157:H7 is also found in meat. Meat must be horoughly cooked.

It takes about 2 to 8 days for a person to show signs of infection which include:

• bloody diarrhea
• nausea and vomiting
• severe abdominal cramps
• fever

Healthy adults infected with E. coli O157:H7 may recover within 5 to 10 days without treatment. The higher risk is for those with a compromised immune system, children and older adults. A serious complication is called hemolytic uremic syndrome (HUS). It leads to destruction of the red blood cells and kidney failure. About 2%-7% of infections lead to this complication. Even with the patient receiving intensive care, the death rate from hemolytic uremic syndrome can be about 3%-5%.

The very infectious E. coli -- type O157:H7 may also be antibiotic resistant. During the current epidemic of E.coli O157:H7 found in spinach an 85-year-old woman died in Wisconsin and 109 people have been hospitalized.

The CDC estimates that about 73,000 cases of E.coli related illness occur each year. And 76 million cases of other foodborne illness. As a direct result of pathogenic E. coli infections and its complications, every year 2,100 Americans are hospitalized, and 61 people die. A recent study estimated the annual cost of E. coli O157:H7 illnesses to be $405 million (in 2003 dollars). Those costs that contributed to this estimate included $370 million for premature deaths, $30 million for medical care, and $5 million for lost productivity.

The virulence of E. coli O157:H7 is a result of its ability to produce Shiga-like toxins, or verotoxins. Shiga-like toxins inhibit protein synthesis in eukaryotic cells and play a role in hemorrhagic colitis and hemolytic uremic syndrome by causing damage to ndothelial cells in the kidneys, pancreas, brain, and other organs, thus inhibiting those organs’ ability to function.

The primary mode of transmission of E. coli at agricultural fairs, petting zoos, and farm visits was previously thought to be fecal-oral – that is, by ingestion of bacteria-laden feces via contaminated food or water, or transfer by hand to mouth following contact with contaminated surfaces or animals. Conclusions reached by investigators in several recent fair-associated outbreaks of E. coli O157:H7 suggest that ingestion or perhaps even inhalation of contaminated dust particles may be an additional cause of E. coli infection among fairgoers and visitors to petting zoos.

I reserve the right to withhold judgement... even with this evidence, it's still possible that islamic terrorists infected the water system with e coli bacteria. We'll find out, eventually.

Mark my words; until we can tell the dead of September 11th there are warm and glassy shores around seas of ash to mark our sorrow for their passing, we shall always be shamed to know that we have not yet responded enough in kind. We will hold our manhood cheap before the images of couples clinging to each other in a final plummet to oblivion until the day comes when we can look serenely upon such images and know that as horrible as these images are, they have been answered. They have been answered with visions of destruction and death so unimagineable that, like the vanquished japanese, the idea of violence will not break the barrier of a man's teeth while living memory remains.

But we do none of these things. Instead, we make memorials, and celebrate victims, and wonder why we didn't kill the bad guys when we had them in our sights. We do these things while our enemies plot our slaughter, and our dead haunt us in mute injury that we have not avenged them, or even earnestly defended ourselves.

It's time to prove to our dead, each other, and ourselves that we are still worth a damn. It's time to sharpen those bayonets, let slip our dogs of war, and give no quarter until the Koran is only quoted in Hell!

The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), a known supporter of jihadism and a front group for financing terrorism, puts the blame squarely on the Internet and talk radio for anti-Islamic sentiment and what it claims are harassment and violence directed at Muslims.

• Thomas Morris Jr, 55, Washington, worked at the Brentwood office which handled an anthrax-laced letter sent to Senator Tom Daschle


• Joseph Curseen, 47, worked at the same office


• Kathy Nguyen, 61, worked in a New York hospital


• Ottilie Lundgren, 94, lived in a rural community in Connecticut. Her case and that of Ms Nguyen are the only ones that have not been traced to tainted mail

Mr. President, Here are the Answers to the Moonbats

Unlike the Moonbat Dems who don't have a plan on how to handle the global war on terror, I have a plan on how to handle terrorism within the USA:

1. Build a Fence. We need a secure border, both to the south AND north. Right now, terrorists, drug dealers, and other subversives can easily cross the borders and integrate with our society. Islamic extremists find a welcome home in their local mosques; mexican drug dealers find a welcome home in their local latino gangs.
2. Stop All Immigration Now. Not just illegal immigration, but a temporary moratorum on all immigration, particularly men from the middle east. Their ranks continue to grow, on both the islamic front and the latino front. They come here to organize their fellow 'innocent' non-citizens in protest marches and hate speech. If they're here for school, send 'em home. If they're here illegally, send 'em back.
3. Remove any islamic soliders from active duty. Have them swear an oath to protect the United States (actually they DO, when they join the military), and swear they have no ties to islamic jihad. And park them at a desk where they can't do any damage until this is all over.
4. Remove any islamics from important positions in Washington. This especially includes FBI translators, who are currently subverting our efforts on the GWOT. And it especially includes any islam-lovers, like Carl Rove's buddy Grover Norquist, who's undermining our fight with islamic terrorists by giving them a voice with GW.
5. Post translators in mosques. Many of the Saudi-funded wahabbi mosques in this country preach the Religion of Peace in English, then switch to their anti-US hate rhetoric in arabic. Let's monitor these guys, or shut down their mosques.
6. Suspend teaching of Islam in our prison system. We know this ain't gonna happen, but have muslim clerics monitored, have their messages filtered to remove the hate speech. Prisons are one of the most dangerous breeding grounds for domestic islamic terrorists. [Or, we could just move all of them voluntarily to Gitmo!]
7. Round 'Em Up. Temporarily suspend the civil rights of anyone professing to islam, put them in camps if necessary. Better yet, use them as laborers to build the fence. Cut off their phone privileges, don't allow them any contact outside the country. Make it illegal for them to purchase, use or own cell phones.

These measures may seem a little extreme, but we're fighting for the survival of our very culture.

Islam is a Grave Danger to Western Society

I’m foaming at the mouth because I’m fed up with morons on the
left trying to derail our Western society because of their “white guilt.”

We need my kind of fervor to fight these f*ckwads. We need the kind of media we had in WWII — propaganda SUPPORTING American society, not against everything it stood for — Christianity, Morality, all that is good. [don’t even start on the ’separation of church and state’ issue. Our country was founded on christian principals of morality, that there is a higher power to answer to. Why do you think our money says ‘In God we trust?’]

Try reading the Qu’ran, if you think I’m a nutcase.

Muhammed had a six-year old wife he obtained by killing her father. Homosexuality is common among men with boys in islamic culture, then outlawed beyond, until they get their 4 wives. The Qu’ran recommends wife beating to keep them in line.

Try reading something besides the NY Times or listening to something besides NPR to get your info. I’ve read several books lately that have enlightened me to the REAL depth of the problem with islam:

“The Third Terrorist” by Jayna Davis. She was an Oklahoma City TV reporter at the time of the bombings of the federal building there, and has extensive proof that Terry Nichols and Timothy McVeigh were the “lily white puppets” of a group of Iraqi nationals who emigrated there after the first gulf war. McVeigh made several trips to the Phillipines (al-Queda east HQ)for training, and it’s pretty obvious he wasn’t smart enough to build the bomb himself.

“Infiltration: How Muslim Spies and Subversives have Penetrated Washington” by Paul Sperry. Sperry is a respected journalist with years of experience covering DC politics. Read the spine-chilling detail of how CAIR and other muslim American groups are trying to convert us to an islamic state.

“The Politically Incorrect Guide to Islam (and the Crusades)” by Robert Spencer. Spencer runs a website, jihadwatch.org, and has studied religion and arabic extensively throughout his life. As a matter of fact, he was one of the people mentioned in Adam Gadahn’s ‘join me in islam’ video a couple weeks ago. CAIR and other similar groups continually REFUSE to debate him about islam.

Read these books and tell me you think we’re not in trouble. Read these books and tell me we don’t have to take drastic action to save Western Civilization.

I think we need some extreme action on the part of everyday citizens to take the country back from the spineless ‘leadership’ we have in BOTH parties.

Orthodox Church Archbishop attacks 'Islamic fanaticism'

Johannesburg (AND) In yet another furor to grip the Christian community, the head of the Orthodox Church of Greece has joined the Pope controversy by attacking what he calls Islamic fanaticism in Africa. In a scathing attack, barely 48 hours after a Somali Islamic cleric called for Muslims to kill the Pope for his Tuesday utterances, Archbishop Christodoulos told a sermon in Athens that Christians in Africa were suffering at the hands of ‘fanatic Islamists'.

"Many Christians on the Black Continent (Africa) suffer from fanatic Islamists. The example of Roman Catholic monks who were slaughtered last year... because they wore the cross and believed in our crucified Lord is still recent,” said Christodoulos.

The Archbishop’s remarks come as the Muslim world is seething with anger over Pope Benedict XVI’s quoting of a 14th-century Byzantine emperor who said innovations introduced by the Prophet Mohammed (the Islamic supreme leader) were "evil and inhuman".

The Pope has already been forced in submitting that he was "deeply sorry" after his remarks sparked outrage in the Muslim world, with Morocco calling back its envoy and Turkey casting doubts of Benedict’s scheduled visit in November – the first to a Muslim country.

However, if you read the Pope's apology carefully, he said he's sorry for upsetting the islamic world. He hasn't apologized for his remarks. And he shouldn't.

Islam must come to an end. Period.

New York Times: Pope Owes 'Deep' Apology to Muslims

Right on target for the dhimmis at NYT, they're demanding an apology from the Holy Father for his comments last week.

Pope Benedict must issue a "deep and persuasive" apology for quotes used during a speech this week that described Islam as "evil and inhuman", The New York Times said in an editorial on Saturday.

"The world listens carefully to the words of any pope. And it is tragic and dangerous when one sows pain, either deliberately or carelessly," the Times said.

"He needs to offer a deep and persuasive apology, demonstrating that words can also heal," it added.

In a speech in Germany on Tuesday, the Pope quoted the 14th century Byzantine Emperor Manuel II Palaeologus, who said: "Show me just what Mohammad brought that was new, and there you will find things only evil and inhuman, such as his command to spread by the sword the faith he preached."

Muslims worldwide have reacted angrily to Benedict's choice of quote and many have said he should apologize to dispel the impression he had joined a campaign against Islam.

Vatican spokesman Federico Lombardi defended the Pope's lecture and said he did not mean to offend Muslims.

The Times editorial said this was not the first time Benedict has fomented discord between Christians and Muslims.

It cited a 2004 comment, when he was the Vatican's top theologian, against Turkey's joining the European Union because as a Muslim country, it was "in permanent contrast to Europe."

"A doctrinal conservative, his greatest fear appears to be the loss of a uniform Catholic identity, not exactly the best jumping-off point for tolerance or interfaith dialogue," the editorial said.

Here's a note to the Times: It's the Pope's job to denounce evil and satan, which is personified in islam. He should be joining a campaign against islam.

Pat Boone's Got It Right: Show Us the Pictures, PLEASE!

We've all heard that one, right? And when it comes to a physical wound, like a scab, it's true. Even when it comes to an emotional or psychic wound, it can be true.

But failing to dress and treat a physical wound – or burying and sublimating an emotional wound, instead of examining and dealing with it – can interfere with complete and proper healing, as well.

As we soberly contemplate the past five years since Sept. 11, 2001, there have been those, even in the usually sensation-exploitive media, who have felt we shouldn't look at the horrific images that bombarded us on those terrible days. Out of sensitivity for the sorrow of those who lost loved ones, they've encouraged us to trust our memories and forego replays of the planes plowing into the Twin Towers, the trapped and desperate people leaping from upper floor windows, the ghastly imploding of the buildings, all the many other horrors playing out live before our eyes.

I Support the Pope!

Although unintentionally, he's set off a firestorm of hate mongering in the islamic world. Here's a link to the official text of Pope Benedict's speech. He was quoting from a discussion by the erudite Byzantine emperor Manuel II Paleologus:

"Show me just what Mohammed brought that was new, and there you will find things only evil and inhuman, such as his command to spread by the sword the faith he preached."

So far, he has apologized only for upsetting the heathens of islam, not for the comments themselves. Of course, the leaders of the Religion of Peace™ are calling for a personal apology, or alternately, his head.

I think we should send US troops to protect the pope. He is the one last major vestige of our civilized West that represents everything NOT islamic. And he's not giving in.

I guess Rosie was right. Those Christian extremists are dangerous.

Al-Qaida warning: Muslims should leave US

Breaking News with spine-chilling detail from WorldNetDaily:

The new al-Qaida field commander in Afghanistan is calling for Muslims to leave the U.S. – particularly Washington and New York – in anticipation of a major terror attack to rival Sept. 11, according to an interview by a Pakistani journalist.

Abu Dawood told Hamid Mir, a reporter who has covered al-Qaida and met with Osama bin Laden, the attack is being coordinated by Adnan el-Shukrijumah and suggests it may involve some form of weapon of mass destruction smuggled across the Mexican border.

"Our brothers are ready to attack inside America. We will breach their security again," he is quoted as saying. "There is no timeframe for our attack inside America; we can do it any time."

As WND has previously reported, el-Shukrijumah is a trained nuclear technician and accomplished pilot who has been singled out by bin Laden and Ayman al-Zawahiri to serve as the field commander for the next terrorist attack on U.S. soil.

The terrorist was last seen in Mexico, where, on Nov. 1, 2004, he allegedly hijacked a Piper PA Pawnee cropduster from Ejido Queretaro near Mexicali to transport a nuclear weapon and nuclear equipment into the U.S., according to Paul Williams, a former FBI consultant and author of "The Dunces of Doomsday."

"He is an American and a friend of Muhammad Atta, who led 9/11 attacks five years ago," said Dawood. "We call him 'Jaffer al Tayyar' (Jafer the Pilot); he is very brave and intelligent. (President) Bush is aware that brother Adnan has smuggled deadly materials inside America from the Mexican border. Bush is silent about him, because he doesn’t want to panic his people. Sheikh Osama bin Laden has completed his cycle of warnings. You know, he is man of his words, he is not a politician; he always does what he says. If he said it many times that Americans will see new attacks, they will definitely see new attacks. He is a real mujahid. Americans will not win this war, which they have started against Muslims. Americans are the biggest supporters of the
biggest terrorist in the world, which is Israel."

Dawood said he was currently conducting operations in Afghanistan under the leadership of the Taliban. He warned of a series of upcoming suicide bombings there directed against government and coalition forces during Ramadan.

He is also quoted as saying the next attack in America will not be conducted by people like Atta.

"We have a different plan for the next attack," he told Mir. "You will see. Americans will hardly find out any Muslim names, after the next attack. Most of our brothers are living in Western countries, with Jewish and Christian names, with passports of Western countries. This time, someone with the name of Mohamed Atta will not attack inside America, it would be some David, Richard or Peter."

He said there will be another audio message from bin Laden aired within the next two weeks. Mir reportedly interviewed Dawood Sept. 12 at the tomb of Sultan Mehmud Ghaznawi on the outskirts of Kabul. Dawood and the al-Qaida leaders who accompanied him were clean-shaven and dressed as Western reporters.
The al-Qaida commander had contacted Mir by cell phone to arrange the meeting.

"You have witnessed the brutality of the Israelis in the recent 34-day war against Lebanese civilians," said Dawood. "9/11 was a revenge of Palestinian children, killed by the U.S.-made weapons, supplied to Israel. The next attack on America would be a revenge of Lebanese children killed by U.S.-made cluster bombs. Bush and (British Prime Minister Tony) Blair are the Crusaders, and Muslim leaders, like (Pakistani President Pervez) Musharraf and (Afghani President Hamid) Karzai are their collaborators. We will teach a lesson to all of them."

El-Shukrijumah was born in Guyana Aug. 4, 1975 – the firstborn of Gulshair el-Shukrijumah, a 44-year-old radical Muslim cleric, and his 16-year-old wife. In 1985, Gulshair migrated to the United States, where he assumed duties as the imam of the Farouq Mosque in Brooklyn.

The mosque, located at 554 Atlantic Avenue in Brooklyn, has served as a hive for terrorist activities. It has raised millions for the jihad and has served as a recruiting station for al-Qaida. Many of the planners of the 1993 attack on the World Trade Center, including blind Sheikh Omar Abdel Rahman, were prominent members of this notorious "house of worship."

In 1995, the Shukrijumah family relocated to Miramar, Fla., where Gulshair became the spiritual leader of the radical Masjid al-Hijah Mosque, and where Adnan became friends with Jose Padilla, who planned to detonate a radiological bomb in midtown Manhattan; Mandhai Jokhan, who was convicted of attempting to blow up nuclear power plants in southern Florida; and a group of other home-grown terrorists.

Adnan Shukrijumah attended flight schools in Florida and Norman, Oklahoma, along with Mohammad Atta and the other 9/11 operatives, and he became a highly skilled commercial jet pilot, although he, like Atta and the other terrorists, never applied for a license with the Federal Aviation Commission.

In April 2001, Shukrijumah spent 10 days in Panama, where he reportedly met with al-Qaida officials to assist in the planning of 9/11. He also traveled to Trinidad and Guyana, where virulent al-Qaida cells have been established. The following month, he obtained an associate's degree in computer engineering from Broward Community College.

During this time, he managed to get passports from Guyana, Trinidad, Saudi Arabia, Canada and the United States, according to Williams. He also began to adopt a number of aliases, including Abu Arifi, Jafar al-Tayyar, Jaafar At Yayyar, Ja'far al-Tayar, and Mohammed Sher Mohammed Khan (the name that appeared on his official FBI file). He traveled to Saudi Arabia and Pakistan, where he met with Ramzi Binalshibh, Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, and other members of the al-Qaida high command. He also spent considerable time within al-Qaida camps in Afghanistan, where he received training in explosives and special operations.

Following 9/11, el-Shukrijumah was reportedly singled out by bin Laden and al-Zawahiri to spearhead the next great attack on America. One plan was for a nuclear attack that would take place simultaneously in seven U.S. cities, leaving millions dead and the richest and most powerful nation on earth in ashes.

"Muslims should leave America," said Dawood. "We cannot stop our attack just because of the American Muslims; they must realize that American forces are killing innocent Muslims in Afghanistan and Iraq; we have the right to respond back, in the same manner, in the enemy's homeland. The American Muslims are like a human shield for our enemy; they must leave New York and Washington."

Mir, the journalist, has reported previously that al-Qaida has smuggled nuclear weapons and uranium into the U.S.

"I am saying that Muslims must leave America, but we can attack America anytime," he said. "Our cycle of warnings has been completed, now we have fresh edicts from some prominent Muslim scholars to destroy our enemy, this is our defending of Jihad; the enemy has entered in our homes and we have the right to enter in their homes, they are killing us, we will kill them."

The Rifleman Series -- Part One: Starting Out

Every new year, it’s time to take stock, and time to make resolutions. To resolve to do important things you need to do.

But how do you know what you need to be doing?

You need an anchor -- a framework, a perspective -- to judge what is happening about you, what you want to accomplish, and the effectiveness of your actions.

If you get back to basics, to what this country is all about - freedom, individual liberty - and look about you today, you'll soon terrify yourself with what you see.

It could be the beginning of your wake-up. Like the guy in "The Matrix", waking up in that artificial womb, controlled by the machines - or like that frog in that rapidly-heating pan of water – you’ll be facing a new world, a world where you realize the wake-up by itself is not enough. You need to get busy if you are going to protect freedom, especially if you’re going to make sure it’s passed on to your kids.

Now is when you can set a goal, something to aim for, to work towards and achieve. Sort of a personal AQT - what the AQT targets and Guide do for your shooting, your firm grounding in the American tradition of liberty can do for your life.

That goal is to strengthen Liberty.

You’ll soon realize that there is a ‘soft’ war raging in America today. You’ll see how the mainstream media lies and distorts – whether it’s the exploding pickup trucks that needed a little "help" from the news crew, the "semi-automatic" rifle fired on full auto to please the anti-gun cable news producers, or the phony memo used by a certain "respected anchorman" last year to try and throw a Presidential election.

If you stand for liberty and the American tradition, you’ll see how everything you stand for is under attack by the liberals, using the mainstream media, the entertainment industry, the "public school" educational system, and arrogant lifetime-tenured judges, along with local, state, and Federal government - when they control it.

Despite their recent electoral setback, the liberals are still in the cultural and political driver’s seat. They have successfully convinced most Americans that the environment is more important than freedom, that it's a fair trade to surrender personal freedoms and rights for a little more security, and that while we are all equal before the law, some people are more equal than others.

Now, in the New Year, with the year barely started, there’s an opportunity for you to add your shoulder to the wheel, to do your part in strengthening American freedom and the American tradition of marksmanship.

Now is the time to think about serious things - about being a citizen, and what it means.

It's actually long past time to become a citizen, rather than a parasite. It's time to stop being someone who sits back and lives off the efforts of the founders while liberals busily undermine this country and its greatness.

It means becoming a man, not that gelding laughed about so much around the dinner table by George III and his boys, as well as their modern statist descendants.

It means that you value freedom over promises of "safety", as Ben Franklin warned you to do.

It means that you recognize the Bill of Rights not as some historical out-of-date tommyrot written by dead white slaveholders, but the firm and unalterable present-day shield of personal liberty against the state. As JPFO says, "What is needed today is a ‘Bill of Rights Culture’" – see www.jpfo.org.

It means that you understand your role in protecting all of the American traditions of personal liberty and responsibility. You know that you, your family, and your friends are the ‘ultimate check-and-balance’ in a system built on checks and balances.

It means that you will provide the sword to defend the shield created by the Bill of Rights.

It means that you recognize that the time to fight is now, in the ‘soft’ war, through the existing political system– and that only fools would choose to wait until the war against tyranny turns ‘hard’.

It means that you understand that the fight is a team fight, that you do not fight alone, that you fight with fellow Americans by your side. You realize that divided amongst ourselves, we will fall, but united, we are unbeatable.

It means that you are willing to work – and work hard – to bring back the days where "a man’s home is his castle", where you are a citizen, not a tax-paying serf.

But as you shake off your slumber, look where we stand in the battle for freedom in this country. Even the concept - the notion - of a battle for freedom is alien to the dumbed-down, barely conscious American public. Don’t forget -- that ‘public’ is your friends, your family, your co-workers. You’ll need persistence and courage to take the message of Liberty to the "sleepers" – count on it.
But the "sleepers" can become part of the solution, if you persist. Their resistance makes all the more important the duty laid on you, in your chosen role of freedom fighter.

How do you start protecting freedom? Step one is to learn to shoot well, to qualify as a Rifleman, so as to become proficient in the means of protection for yourself, your family, and your country. Even more importantly, the skills that you develop in becoming a Rifleman – perseverance, discipline, and patience – will serve you well, both in helping others to become Riflemen and in fighting the ‘soft’ political war.

Next step is to awaken fellow Americans to the dangers posed by the liberals and their plan of creeping socialism. In the ‘soft war’, you’ll need more than just your one vote to make a difference. You’ll need a team of educated voters who know the American traditions of liberty and are willing to work to restore those ideals.

After that, you and your team continue by waking up your politicians and educating them...and if they won't be educated, then work together to replace them.

Liberty. It’s a tradition. You keep it alive only if you pass it along. You need to be thinking about how you do it, not only for yourself, but to make up for all those others who are asleep at the switch. It’s your duty to cover for those who will not help to pass Liberty along to the next generation.

You begin at the personal level. You educate others - your family, friends, co-workers - to wake them up, to get them out of the cooking pan, and into protecting and saving freedom. It’ll be discouraging -- most of them will just look at you and accuse you of being paranoid. Others will scoff and ask you for your tinfoil hat - but that's why you have to wake them up.

Just remember how many good men have died to give you what you have today. Don't give up!
And never last, and never least, you get someone down to the range, shooting.

You’ll bring someone just like you, some who is hoping for the best, but planning for the worst.

Both of you will want get to the range, soon, and finally learn how to shoot.

Learn how to shoot – true and fast -- like an American rifleman.

We're Fighting for Our Very Lives...

Realize that we're fighting for the very existence of Western Civilization.

Muslims are attacking us on every front - militarily with terrorism, socially with civil right suits by ACLU and CAIR (and whining about being mistreated and attacked since 9/11), financially with oil (and attempting to destroy our markets), politically with lefty traitor moonbats, legally with lefty traitor judges too stupid to understand what we're up against...

Muslims hate us for who we are: infidels/kaffirs. The Qu'ran says we have three choices: convert to Islam, pay a tax (jizya) to retain our second-class status (and be ridiculed and treated like sh*t, like christians and buddhists in other islamic countries), or die. Islam has nothing to do with peace, it has everything to do with world domination.

BTW, the word 'islam' means 'SUBMIT.'

Until we get a little backbone and really start fighting this war (like killing 150 taliban fighters at a funeral) we don't have a stinking chance.

Almost every region of the world is fighting Islam. Once you look at it from this global perspective, you'll understand what Bush is trying to do.

During war, sometimes personal liberties have to be sacrificed for the greater good. Sometimes, personal conveniences have to be sacrificed for the greater good.

At the beginning of the US involvement in WWII, many Republicans were against FDR sending US troops or getting involved. Fortunately for us, they were big enough to understand the greater good: the survival of the United States of America and her allies.

For the good of the country, Republicans in congress decided to back the President 100% (at least, in public) and wage a war against Nazi Germany UNTIL IT WAS WON. So they used anti-Nazi and anti-Jap propaganda, japanese-american citizens were held in camps, they started the draft -- but every real American pitched in to help this country. Japanese-Americans in the military were the hardest fighters in the conflict -- they had a point to prove. You don't see muslim American soldiers doing that -- you see them throwing grenades in tents full of their fellow soldiers.

We stabilized Germany, Italy and Japan by replacing their fascist goverments with democracy. We have a harder battle to fight here, because we're fighting against an ideaology -- ISLAM -- that wishes to turn you and me into dog food. There is no 'radical' islam, there is only one islam -- terrorists are being supported every day by 'moderate' muslims raising money for their charities, buying cell phones to detonate bombs, individual muslims are using their cars as weapons...

Thanks to the lefty traitorous moonbats in congress and the media, the ACLU, CAIR and all the other subversive c*ck-sucking, baby-raping, child-molesting muslims in this country, our chances our slim.

Bush needs all the support he can get. Why not be a REAL American and back up our leader, then we can deal with our internal politics!!!

If we don't come together, that won't be an issue for much longer. When islam takes over, there won't be any internal politics. You either submit or die.
