Al Queda at pre-9/11 strength? Who knew?

As reported in the popular media the last several days, Al Queda has reached its pre-9/11 strength. Who knew?

We in the blogosphere knew.

The USA is getting attacked daily on a number of fronts by islamic jihad-- social, political, legal, criminal -- as well as covert planning to physically attack civilian targets in the USA. The mainstream media has pretended there's nothing afoot, frequently avoid naming the perpretrator's religion (of peace) in individual terrorist attacks by islamic nutcases; their pandering to groups like CAIR, allowing them face time on national television and saying they represent 'mainstream islam'; burying real stories of islamist terror cells operating in this country, like the mass cell phone purchases and pretty much anything happening in Dearbornistan. The dhimmicrats have acted in a similar fashion by not taking a strong stand for border security and building the fence we most desparately need, by the Nancy Pelosi's saying we should prosecute anti-islamic crimes as hate crime.

Religion of Peace: American Muslims are just like the rest of us...

In the mainstream media today comes a story reporting about a recent survey of American muslims. The article reports the survey found that 'moderate' muslims living in America are trying to assimilate into our culture, and they're "just like us."

No so fast, my friend. Read the actual results from the survey, and you'll get a different impression, as I did. The headline in the local fishwrap, The Dispatch, is "Young Muslims differ on suicide attacks" and leads with this sentence:

One in four younger U.S. Muslims say suicide bombings to defend their religion
are acceptable in some circumstances, a poll says.
However, most Muslim Americans overwhelmingly reject the tactic and are critical of Islamic extremism and al-Qaida, according to a survey by the Pew Research Center.

The problem, as Debbie Schlussel reports, is that the younger the muslim, the more extreme their views, much like the rioting 'youths' in France the past three years.

The fact that ANY muslim in America has so much hate for our society and culture is very scary. Plus, the fact the we continue to allow these people into our country with open arms, to grow and breed their hate here, is frightening as well. I'm not so much afraid for our current generation, I fear for my daughter's generation. With the likes of Pelosi, Kennedy, Reid and Clinton (either one) in power in Washington, by the time she is an adult, we'll no doubt have 'hate laws' preventing us from protecting ourselves from these religious extremists. And it'll probably be illegal to be a Christian by then. It's already politically incorrect.
