WASHINGTON — A Republican congressman from Georgia said Monday he fears that President-elect Obama will establish a Gestapo-like security force to impose a Marxist or fascist dictatorship.
"It may sound a bit crazy and off base, but the thing is, he's the one who proposed this national security force," Rep. Paul Broun said of Obama in an interview Monday with The Associated Press. "I'm just trying to bring attention to the fact that we may — may not, I hope not — but we may have a problem with that type of philosophy of radical socialism or Marxism."
Broun cited a July speech by Obama that has circulated on the Internet in which the then-Democratic presidential candidate called for a civilian force to take some of the national security burden off the military.
"That's exactly what Hitler did in Nazi Germany and it's exactly what the Soviet Union did," Broun said. "When he's proposing to have a national security force that's answering to him, that is as strong as the U.S. military, he's showing me signs of being Marxist."
Obama's comments about a national security force came during a speech in Colorado about building a new civil service corps. Among other things, he called for expanding the nation's foreign service and doubling the size of the Peace Corps "to renew our diplomacy."
"We cannot continue to rely only on our military in order to achieve the national security objectives that we've set," Obama said in July. "We've got to have a civilian national security force that's just as powerful, just as strong, just as well-funded."
Broun said he also believes Obama likely will move to ban gun ownership if he does build a national police force.
Obama has said he respects the Second Amendment right to bear arms and favors "common sense" gun laws. Gun rights advocates interpret that as meaning he'll at least enact curbs on ownership of assault weapons and concealed weapons. As an Illinois state lawmaker, Obama supported a ban on semiautomatic weapons and tighter restrictions on firearms generally.
"We can't be lulled into complacency," Broun said. "You have to remember that Adolf Hitler was elected in a democratic Germany. I'm not comparing him to Adolf Hitler. What I'm saying is there is the potential."
Obama's transition office did not respond immediately to Broun's remarks.

Senator Barack Obama's presidential campaign slogan, "the audacity of hope," should have instead been "the audacity of deceit." After months of telling the American people that he supports the Second Amendment, and only hours after being declared the president-elect, the Obama transition team website announced an agenda taken straight from the anti-gun lobby--four initiatives designed to ban guns and drive law-abiding firearm manufacturers and dealers out of business:
"Making the expired federal assault weapons ban permanent." Perhaps no other firearm issue has been more dishonestly portrayed by gun prohibitionists. Notwithstanding their predictions that the ban's expiration in 2004 would bring about the end of civilization, for the last four years the nation's murder rate has been lower than anytime since the mid-1960s. Studies for Congress, the Congressional Research Service, the National Institute of Justice, the National Academy of Sciences, and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention have found no evidence that gun prohibition or gun control reduces crime. Guns that were affected by the ban are used in only a tiny fraction of violent crime-about 35 times as many people are murdered without any sort of firearm (knives, bare hands, etc.), as with "assault weapons." Obama says that "assault weapons" are machine guns that "belong on foreign battlefields," but that is a lie; the guns are only semi-automatic, and they are not used by a military force anywhere on the planet.
"Repeal the Tiahrt Amendment." The amendment--endorsed by the Fraternal Order of Police--prohibits the release of federal firearm tracing information to anyone other than a law enforcement agency conducting a bona fide criminal investigation. Anti-gun activists oppose the restriction, because it prevents them from obtaining tracing information and using it in frivolous lawsuits against law-abiding firearm manufacturers. Their lawsuits seek to obtain huge financial judgments against firearm manufacturers when a criminal uses a gun to inflict harm, even though the manufacturers have complied with all applicable laws.
"Closing the gun show loophole." There is no "loophole." Under federal law, a firearm dealer must conduct a background check on anyone to whom he sells a gun, regardless of where the sale takes place. A person who is not a dealer may sell a gun from his personal collection without conducting a check. Gun prohibitionists claim that many criminals obtain guns from gun shows, though the most recent federal survey of convicted felons put the figure at only 0.7 percent. They also claim that non-dealers should be required to conduct checks when selling guns at shows, but the legislation they support goes far beyond imposing that lone requirement. In fact, anti-gun members of Congress voted against that limited measure, holding out for a broader bill intended to drive shows out of business.
"Making guns in this country childproof." "Childproof" is a codeword for a variety of schemes designed to prevent the sale of firearms by imposing impossible or highly expensive design requirements, such as biometric shooter-identification systems. While no one opposes keeping children safe, the fact is that accidental firearm-related deaths among children have decreased 86 percent since 1975, even as the numbers of children and guns have risen dramatically. Today, the chances of a child being killed in a firearm accident are less than one in a million.

The co-chair of Barack Obama’s Transition Team, Valerie Jarrett, appeared on Meet the Press this weekend and used, shall we say, an interesting word to described what she thinks Barack Obama will be doing in January when he’s officially sworn into office. She told Tom Brokaw that Obama will be ready to “rule” on day one. It’s a word that reflects the worst fears that people have for Obama the “arrogant,” the “messiah,” that imagines he’s here to “rule” instead of govern.
Jarret told Brokaw that “given the daunting challenges that we face, it’s important that president elect Obama is prepared to really take power and begin to rule day one.”
Concerned? You should be. I think this reflects the attitude of the entire Obama team, including The Commander in Thief.
OneNewsNow reports about California kindergarteners being given a 'homosexual pledge card' to not use any slurs, talk against homosexuals, and stand up for homosexual students.

The pledge cards were produced by the Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network, or GLSEN, and featured oaths that students would not use "anti-lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender language or slurs," that students would intervene on behalf of homosexual students when possible, and that they would actively support safer schools efforts. Tara Miller is a kindergarten teacher at Faith Ringgold School of Arts and Science in Hayward, California. She passed out the pledge cards to her students, which she then asked them to sign. Peter LaBarbera, the president of Americans for Truth about Homosexuality, is outraged at Miller's actions.
In the same report on FoxNews.com, a spokesperson for the school agreed that the pledge was inappropriate for the kindergarten students and said that the pledges were meant for middle school and high school students.
That's much better. No student should be exposed to this garbage.
Are you as outraged as I am? Be sure to talk to your kids every day about what they're learning in school. Read their textbooks, especially history, and watch for any 'special' visitors to their schools to talk to the kids. If something like this happens in my local school district, you can be sure I will petition for equal time in front of the kids to promote a conservative agenda.

The Undecideds
The Undecideds *have* decided: they have decided not to declare their choice to pollsters.
The polls are way, way off this election cycle. Pollsters have admitted that this election has the highest ‘refusal to respond’ number. The ‘undecideds’ are people who don’t want to declare their choice. Why would they do that? If you belong to a Union, and they tell you to vote for Obama or ‘else’, you will not answer a pollster for it could be a union boss checking up on its members. PUMAs have declared their intention to lie to pollsters and they are organized. And there are many people who don’t want to declare ‘McCain’ because of being percieved as a ‘racist’.
Look, days away from the election and there are like 11% undecideds? No! This is not normal. The Bradley Effect is occuring with the undecideds. I suspect there is oversampling from the urban population as well. Another big factor is the pollsters putting in the additional Democrat registrations as if these are new voters. The boost in Democrat registrations came from many ‘registration drives’ where people are paid to meet a quota (where you get names like Mickey Mouse on the ballots or the Dallas Cowboys) as well as Republicans who switched to the Democrat Party to tamper with the Democrat Primary. I suspect the boost in Democrat registrations was intentional early on to throw off the pollsters so their calculations can only factor in a much larger than Democrat turnout than normal as part of their ‘inevitable strategy’ psy-op campaign.
Projections are only as good as their inputs. With the high rate of people refusing to be polled (as admitted by pollsters), the high rate of people not willing to declare who they want to vote for (the undecideds), and the huge wave of junk Democrat registrations, you’re going to see the polls be way, way off.

I think the "undecided" voters in the polls just don't want to tell the pollsters they support John McCain. I think many of the Dimocrats in the polls don't want to tell the pollsters they support John McCain. I think many in the Leftmedia, including Gary Trudeau, are going to be "surprised" by the results of Tuesday. Not me. Not many real Americans.

The Governator was true to form in Columbus Friday night, rallying for John McCain at Nationwide Arena.
I always knew Arnold was a great communicator, and he confirmed it with this speech. Some important points in his speech:
Arnold said he left Europe four decades ago because he could see how socialism limited the possibilities for success there. He said European countries have learned their lessons and are starting to backtrack and emulate the US. Obama, however, hasn't learned that lesson.
He said McCain has served his country longer in a POW camp than Obama has served in the US Senate.
He said Obama needs to hit the weight room for his skinny little legs and arms (code words, I suppose, for 'black'), but the real place he needs to put some meat on -- his ideas.
He also said he plays an action hero in the movies, but John McCain is a REAL action hero.
Oh yeah, he mentioned The One has also raised more money for his campaign in history, enough for Obama to pay off all that bank debt and pay for all those bad mortgages. And even with all that money, "America is NOT for sale." He considers America the greatest country in the world, the "Land of Opportunity."
The Governator said he's been coming to Columbus for almost forty years. He won the Mr. World competition here, he's done business here, he's made friends here, and he comes here every March for The Arnold Classic. I attest that Ohio loves Ahhnold as well.
I know Ahhnold's policies are a bit RINO, but I suppose they have to be to survive in Hollyweird.
Let's get out and vote for John McCain on Tuesday and put an end to The One's political career. I can guarantee that if he wins (and even if he doesn't) all of the background details about him will end his career.
According to WorldNetDaily, The One's "Auntie Zeituni" living in squalor in public housing in Boston, is an illegal alien with a deportation order on her.
Barack Obama's aunt, revealed this week to be dwelling in a Boston slum, is living in the United States illegally, refusing to leave the U.S. for her Kenyan homeland when a judge rejected her request for asylum four years ago, the Associated Press is reporting.
A person familiar with the case told AP that 56-year-old Zeituni Onyango was told to leave America by a U.S. immigration judge in 2004.
Two separate sources, one of them a federal law enforcement official, disclosed and confirmed information about the deportation case.
Speaking to a reporter with the London Times, outside her home, Zeituni Onyango, 56, confirmed she was indeed the "Auntie Zeituni" so affectionately described in Obama's best-selling memoir, "Dreams From My Father."
In the memoir, Obama wrote: "If Jane or Zeituni ever felt ill, if their companies ever closed or laid them off, there was no government safety net. There was only family, next of kin, people burdened by similar hardship. Now I was family, I reminded myself. Now I had responsibilities."
Onyango declined to answer most other questions about her relationship with the presidential contender until after the Nov. 4 election.
His illegal alien Auntie also donated a total of $260 to The One's presidential campaign. She's a Kenyan national. POTUS candidates can't accept donations from foreign nationals.
Interesting to note that she won't talk to the media untial AFTER November 4. What does she know? Perhaps Obama's true birthplace in Kenya (where his paternal grandmother bragged she attended the birth).
