Obama Campaign Fails to Reveal Small Donors

In an article at Newsmax.com, Kenneth R. Timmerman reports today that more than half of the 426 million the obamessiah campaign has raised comes from unknown sources:

More than half of the whopping $426.9 million Barack Obama has raised has come from small donors whose names the Obama campaign won't disclose.

And questions have arisen about millions more in foreign donations the Obama campaign has received that apparently have not been vetted as legitimate.

Obama has raised nearly twice that of John McCain's campaign, according to new campaign finance report.

But because of Obama’s high expenses during the hotly contested Democratic primary season and an early decision to forgo public campaign money and the spending limits it imposes, all that cash has not translated into a financial advantage — at least, not yet.
The article raises the dark specter that foreigners are trying to influence the election:
...others came from places as far afield as Abu Dhabi, Addis Ababa, Beijing, Fallujah, Florence, Italy, and a wide selection of towns and cities in France.
No doubt, because the obamessiah is a citizen of the world.

Once again, not something you'll see in the leftmedia. Read the entire article here.

UK Spectator: Subversives for Obama

Doing the work our own leftmedia won't do, Melanie Phillips at the UK's Spectator adds more fuel to the fire:

Barack Obama appears to sit on a nexus between Marxist revolutionary activists, unrepentant former terrorists, Black Power racists, Chicago mobsters – oh, and a Saudi who is trying to buy up America. If you were to turn up at US immigration control with a background of such associates, it’s a fair bet they wouldn’t let you off the air-bridge. Yet this man may well become President of the US! If any other candidate had had merely a fleeting relationship with William Ayers, his candidacy would have been terminated before it was even articulated -- let alone what we now know about Obama’s key role in Ayers’s CAC and its funding of radical groups; let alone the fact that Obama had been mentored during his formative years by a Communist Party plant; let alone his work for organisations modelled on the seditious philosophy of Saul Alinsky; let alone his two-decade membership of a Black Power church; let alone his relationship with fraudster Tony Rezko.

And yet despite all of this, virtually no-one in the mainstream media is asking any questions. Has there ever been a more staggering, surreal and scary race to the White House?

More ammunition: Obama's responsible for mortgage meltdown

From Stanley Kurtz at the New York Post comes this article detailing Obama's indirect involvement in the mortgage crisis, by way of "Community Organizer" (h/t The Muslim Question). Posted complete so you can read the entire article.

O'S DANGEROUS PALS
BARACK'S 'ORGANIZER' BUDS PUSHED FOR BAD MORTGAGES
By STANLEY KURTZ

September 29, 2008

WHAT exactly does a "community organizer" do? Barack Obama's rise has left many Americans asking themselves that question. Here's a big part of the answer: Community organizers intimidate banks into making high-risk loans to customers with poor credit.

In the name of fairness to minorities, community organizers occupy private offices, chant inside bank lobbies, and confront executives at their homes - and thereby force financial institutions to direct hundreds of millions of dollars in mortgages to low-credit customers.

In other words, community organizers help to undermine the US economy by pushing the banking system into a sinkhole of bad loans. And Obama has spent years training and funding the organizers who do it.

THE seeds of today's financial meltdown lie in the Commu nity Reinvestment Act - a law passed in 1977 and made riskier by unwise amendments and regulatory rulings in later decades.

CRA was meant to encourage banks to make loans to high-risk borrowers, often minorities living in unstable neighborhoods. That has provided an opening to radical groups like ACORN (the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now) to abuse the law by forcing banks to make hundreds of millions of dollars in "subprime" loans to often uncreditworthy poor and minority customers.

Any bank that wants to expand or merge with another has to show it has complied with CRA - and approval can be held up by complaints filed by groups like ACORN.

In fact, intimidation tactics, public charges of racism and threats to use CRA to block business expansion have enabled ACORN to extract hundreds of millions of dollars in loans and contributions from America's financial institutions.

Banks already overexposed by these shaky loans were pushed still further in the wrong direction when government-sponsored Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac began buying up their bad loans and offering them for sale on world markets.

Fannie and Freddie acted in response to Clinton administration pressure to boost homeownership rates among minorities and the poor. However compassionate the motive, the result of this systematic disregard for normal credit standards has been financial disaster.

ONE key pioneer of ACORN's subprime-loan shakedown racket was Madeline Talbott - an activist with extensive ties to Barack Obama. She was also in on the ground floor of the disastrous turn in Fannie Mae's mortgage policies.

Long the director of Chicago ACORN, Talbott is a specialist in "direct action" - organizers' term for their militant tactics of intimidation and disruption. Perhaps her most famous stunt was leading a group of ACORN protesters breaking into a meeting of the Chicago City Council to push for a "living wage" law, shouting in defiance as she was arrested for mob action and disorderly conduct. But her real legacy may be her drive to push banks into making risky mortgage loans.

In February 1990, Illinois regulators held what was believed to be the first-ever state hearing to consider blocking a thrift merger for lack of compliance with CRA. The challenge was filed by ACORN, led by Talbott. Officials of Bell Federal Savings and Loan Association, her target, complained that ACORN pressure was undermining its ability to meet strict financial requirements it was obligated to uphold and protested being boxed into an "affirmative-action lending policy." The following years saw Talbott featured in dozens of news stories about pressuring banks into higher-risk minority loans.

IN April 1992, Talbott filed an other precedent-setting com plaint using the "community support requirements" of the 1989 savings-and-loan bailout, this time against Avondale Federal Bank for Savings. Within a month, Chicago ACORN had organized its first "bank fair" at Malcolm X College and found 16 Chicago-area financial institutions willing to participate.

Two months later, aided by ACORN organizer Sandra Maxwell, Talbott announced plans to conduct demonstrations in the lobbies of area banks that refused to attend an ACORN-sponsored national bank "summit" in New York. She insisted that banks show a commitment to minority lending by lowering their standards on downpayments and underwriting - for example, by overlooking bad credit histories.

By September 1992, The Chicago Tribune was describing Talbott's program as "affirma- tive-action lending" and ACORN was issuing fact sheets bragging about relaxations of credit standards that it had won on behalf of minorities.

And Talbott continued her effort to, as she put it, drag banks "kicking and screaming" into high-risk loans. A September 1993 story in The Chicago Sun-Times presents her as the leader of an initiative in which five area financial institutions (including two of her former targets, now plainly cowed - Bell Federal Savings and Avondale Federal Savings) were "participating in a $55 million national pilot program with affordable-housing group ACORN to make mortgages for low- and moderate-income people with troubled credit histories."

What made this program different from others, the paper added, was the participation of Fannie Mae - which had agreed to buy up the loans. "If this pilot program works," crowed Talbott, "it will send a message to the lending community that it's OK to make these kind of loans."

Well, the pilot program "worked," and Fannie Mae's message that risky loans to minorities were "OK" was sent. The rest is financial-meltdown history.

IT would be tough to find an "on the ground" community organizer more closely tied to the subprime-mortgage fiasco than Madeline Talbott. And no one has been more supportive of Madeline Talbott than Barack Obama.

When Obama was just a budding community organizer in Chicago, Talbott was so impressed that she asked him to train her personal staff.

He returned to Chicago in the early '90s, just as Talbott was starting her pressure campaign on local banks. Chicago ACORN sought out Obama's legal services for a "motor voter" case and partnered with him on his 1992 "Project VOTE" registration drive.

In those years, he also conducted leadership-training seminars for ACORN's up-and-coming organizers. That is, Obama was training the army of ACORN organizers who participated in Madeline Talbott's drive against Chicago's banks.

More than that, Obama was funding them. As he rose to a leadership role at Chicago's Woods Fund, he became the most powerful voice on the foundation's board for supporting ACORN and other community organizers. In 1995, the Woods Fund substantially expanded its funding of community organizers - and Obama chaired the committee that urged and managed the shift.

That committee's report on strategies for funding groups like ACORN features all the key names in Obama's organizer network. The report quotes Talbott more than any other figure; Sandra Maxwell, Talbott's ACORN ally in the bank battle, was also among the organizers consulted.

MORE, the Obama-supervised Woods Fund report ac knowledges the problem of getting donors and foundations to contribute to radical groups like ACORN - whose confrontational tactics often scare off even liberal donors and foundations.

Indeed, the report brags about pulling the wool over the public's eye. The Woods Fund's claim to be "nonideological," it says, has "enabled the Trustees to make grants to organizations that use confrontational tactics against the business and government 'establishments' without undue risk of being criticized for partisanship."

Hmm. Radicalism disguised by a claim to be postideological. Sound familiar?

The Woods Fund report makes it clear Obama was fully aware of the intimidation tactics used by ACORN's Madeline Talbott in her pioneering efforts to force banks to suspend their usual credit standards. Yet he supported Talbott in every conceivable way. He trained her personal staff and other aspiring ACORN leaders, he consulted with her extensively, and he arranged a major boost in foundation funding for her efforts.

And, as the leader of another charity, the Chicago Annenberg Challenge, Obama channeled more funding Talbott's way - ostensibly for education projects but surely supportive of ACORN's overall efforts.

In return, Talbott proudly announced her support of Obama's first campaign for state Senate, saying, "We accept and respect him as a kindred spirit, a fellow organizer."

IN short, to understand the roots of the subprime-mortgage crisis, look to ACORN's Madeline Talbott. And to see how Talbott was able to work her mischief, look to Barack Obama.

Then you'll truly know what community organizers do.

I'm Done with Schlussel

Wow. She's supposed to be a conservative, but she just doesn't get it. She's railing on Palin today, calling her an empty suit.

Debbie Schlussel has been an important contributor to the anti-jihad and the anti-illegal immigration movement, but she's become as vile as the Kos Kids. I just can't stand it anymore. Her favorite thing to write about is, well, herself, about all the hate email she gets and how the ICE doesn't prosecute all the muslims who call her a four-letter word. I suspect many people have called her bad things regardless of their political views.

Regardless of Palin's qualifications, sometimes you just have to shut up and make the sale. I'm not the biggest McCain supporter, but if the obamessiah gets elected, we'll have a lot more to complain about. I suspect that's the issue here -- she needs more material for her blog for the next four years.

I'm pulling the plug from my blogroll. Not that it's going to have a big impact on her readership.

“I believe that the people you and I represent are ready to chart a new course. They look to us to meet the great challenge, to reach beyond the commonplace and not fall short for lack of creativity or courage... We can restore our economic strength and build opportunities like none we’ve ever had before. As Carl Sandburg said, all we need to begin with is a dream that we can do better than before. All we need to have is faith, and that dream will come true. All we need to do is act, and the time for action is now.” —Ronald Reagan

Obama's Rules for Radicals

A post today at IBDeditorials.com details how 'community organizer' obamessiah makes good use of his education at the hands of communist/socialist/Marxist (is that redundant?) Saul Alinsky:

Barack Obama's mocking of John McCain, while urging his followers to "get in their face," are tactics right out of his radical hero Saul Alinsky's playbook: ridicule and agitation.

Obama has already translated several of Alinsky's rules into battle tactics, including:

  • Rule: "Rub raw the resentments of the people; search out controversy and issues." In the mortgage meltdown, for instance, Obama vows to prosecute "predatory lenders" for "abusing" minority borrowers. He's also stoking class resentment by painting Wall Street and other executives as villains.

  • Rule: "Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it." In an ad to woo Hispanic voters, Obama demonized Rush Limbaugh by falsely claiming he made racist statements against immigrants.

  • Rule: "A mass impression can be lasting and intimidating." This explains why Obama moved his acceptance speech to a football stadium and bussed in 85,000 supporters. Alinsky's son was so impressed, he praised Obama for learning his father's "lesson well."

  • Rule: "Multiple issues mean constant action and life" for the cause. This is why Obama never harps on one issue, as Hillary did with health care. His platform is packed with grievances from "economic justice" to "reproductive justice" to "environmental justice."
Obama is following almost to the letter the blueprint for socialist revolution drafted by the father of community organizing.
This man could be elected to the most powerful job in the world.

Hold your nose and vote McCain/Palin November 4.

How Modern Liberals "Think"

A post today at The Muslim Question coming from former cradle liberal Evan Sayet is a brilliant analysis into how modern Liberals "think." Sayet now works for the The Heritage Foundation, a conservative think tank.

I've embedded the video here. It's long, but well worth the watch. Follow the link to read the entire transcript at TMQ2.

Regurgitating the Apple: How Modern Liberals “Think”

by Evan Sayet The Heritage Foundation

Heritage Lecture #1020 Delivered on March 5, 2007.

Foreward by Becky Norton Dunlop, VP for External Relations at The Heritage Foundation:

Evan Sayet has written and/or produced in virtually every medium there is. He started out as a stand-up comic. Very few are successful, but Evan has been successful at that. He was quickly spotted by David Letterman and offered a spot on a special episode featuring young talent. He then moved into writing, and he was an integral part of the team that made the “Arsenio Hall Show” the first late-night program in 30 years to give the “Tonight Show” a run for its money.

Then he moved to a very interesting assignment called “Politically Incorrect” with Bill Maher. After that, Evan wrote and produced the highest-rated special in the Learning Channel’s history, “The 70’s: From Bellbottoms to Boogie Shoes.” He perfected the book for a musical comedy, wrote a screenplay optioned by Penny Marshall, and even tried his hand at game shows as the original writer of the cult classic, “Win Ben Stein’s Money.”

The latest twist in Evan’s career came during the recent presidential elections when he turned his attention and skills toward convincing others of the greatness of America and the need to reelect President Bush and to stay the course in the Middle East. In a short time, Evan was made the communications director for Los Angeles for President Bush. He wrote a number of articles about this for major conservative outlets and later was asked to offer weekly commentary on KMJ Radio. He also began delivering the lecture that he’s going to be delivering to us today.

He now is among Los Angeles’s most in-demand speakers, a political pundit recognized by Dennis Prager as brilliant for his take on the unique power of the Judeo-Christian culture and singled out by Rush Limbaugh for his explanation of why Liberals lie. Evan is signed with one of the country’s top speakers bureaus and has recently been booked at the highly prestigious Lincoln Club, whose monthly roster of speakers has included people such as Ken Starr, former U.S. Treasurer Rosario Marin, and the Consul General of Israel.

At around that same time, Evan returned to his first love, stand-up comedy, only now with a decidedly conservative twist. He has been the headliner of a night of conservative comedy called “Right to Laugh” and is now planning a series of one-nighters around the country. He recently appeared at the Conservative Political Action Conference and was well received by his audience on a night when there were many luminaries on the stage. He will soon produce his first CD, “Funny, You Don’t Look Conservative.”

********************

Evan Sayet: I call myself a 9/13 Republican. I grew up a liberal New York Jew; you don’t get much more liberal than that, although it was lower-case “l,” not what’s considered Liberal today. I graduated from high school knowing only one thing about politics: that Democrats are good and Republicans are evil.

I tell a story. It’s not a true story, but it helps crystallize my thinking that brought me to become a conservative. I say: Imagine being in a restaurant with an old friend, and you’re catching up, and suddenly he blurts out, “I hate my wife.”

You chuckle to yourself because he says it every time you’re together, and you know he doesn’t hate his wife; they’ve been together for 35 years. He loves his daughters, and they’re just like her. No, he doesn’t hate his wife.

So you’re having dinner, and you look out the window and spot his wife, and she’s being beaten up right outside the restaurant. You grab your friend and say, “Come on, let’s help her. Let’s help your wife,” and he says, “Nah, I’m sure she deserves it.” At that moment, it dawns on you: He really does hate his wife.

That’s what 9/11 was to me. For years and years I’d hear my friends from the Left say how evil and horrible and racist and imperialistic and oppressive America is, and I’d chuckle to myself and think, “Oh, they always say that; they love America.” Then on 9/11, we were beaten up, and when I grabbed them by the collar, and I said, “Come on, let’s help her. Let’s help America,” and they said, “Nah, she deserves it.”

At that moment, I realized: They really do hate America. And that began me on what’s now a five-plus-year quest to try to understand the mindset. How could you possibly live in the freest nation in the history of the world and see only oppression? How could you live in the least imperialist power in human history and see us as the ultimate in imperialism? How could you live in the least bigoted nation in human history and, as Joe Biden said, “see racism lurking in every dark shadow”?

Over the next five years, what I came to think through, what I came to learn, what I came to find in conversations and studying, listening, and reading became this talk and very soon will be the book Regurgitating the Apple: How Modern Liberals “Think.”

I assume that just about everybody in this room agrees that the Democrats are wrong on just about every issue. Well, I’m here to propose to you that it’s not “just about” every issue; it’s quite literally every issue. And it’s not just wrong; it’s as wrong as wrong can be; it’s 180 degrees from right; it is diametrically opposed to that which is good, right, and successful.

What I discovered is that this is not an accident. This is part of a philosophy that now dominates the whole of Western Europe and the Democratic Party today. I, like some others, call it Modern Liberalism. The Modern Liberal will invariably side with evil over good, wrong over right, and the behaviors that lead to failure over those that lead to success.

Rumor or not? Biden to step down Oct. 5

I've seen this email from a couple of different sources, most recently the Muslim Question:

I just got this e-mail. Don’t know what to make of it….

Let me share some info with you that I have gotten from excellent sources within the DNC:

On or about October 5th, Biden will excuse himself from the ticket, citing health problems, and he will be replaced by Hillary. This is timed to occur after the VP debate on 10/2.

There have been talks all weekend about how to proceed with this info. generally, the feeling is that we should all go ahead and get it out there to as many blog sites and personal email lists as is possible. I have already seen a few short blurbs about this — the “health problem” cited in those articles was aneurysm. Probably many of you have heard the same rumblings.

However, at this point, with this inside info from the DNC, it looks like this Obama strategy will be a go.

Therefore, it seems that the best strategy is to get out in front of this Obama maneuver, spell it out in detail, and thereby expose it for the grand manipulation that it is.
_
Send this info out to as many people as you can — post about it on websites and blogs - etc etc.

I also checked Snopes (web fact-checking site) and they're still up in the air about it. I really can't see Hillary helping out a brotha'. She's vested in Obama losing, then taking up the fight again in 2012.

Only time will tell.

Democrats vs. Republican

Saw this joke posted on Glenn Beck's myspace page:

A woman in a hot air balloon realized she was lost. She lowered her altitude and spotted a man in a boat below. She shouted to him, "Excuse me, can you help me? I promised a friend I would meet him an hour ago, but I don't know where I am."

The man consulted his portable GPS and replied, "You're in a hot air balloon, approximately 30 feet above a ground elevation of 2,346 feet above sea level. You are at 31 degrees, 14.97 minutes north latitude and 100 degrees, 49.09 minutes west longitude."

She rolled her eyes and said, "You must be a Republican."

"I am," replied the man. "How did you know?"

"Well," answered the balloonist, "every thing you told me is technically correct, but I have no idea what to do with your information, and I'm still lost. Frankly, you've not been much help to me."

The man smiled and responded, "You must be a Democrat."

"I am," replied the balloonist. "How did you know?"

"Well," said the man, "You don't know where you are or where you are going. You've risen to where you are, due to a large quantity of hot air. You made a promise that you have no idea how to keep, and you expect me to solve your problem. You're in exactly the same position you were in before we met, but, somehow, now it's my fault."
Nice.

Business as usual: muslims complain of Obsession video in Dispatch

From Patrick Poole's Central Ohioans Against Terrorism blog today:

Included in the Sunday edition of the Columbus Dispatch this past weekend (you know, before the power went out) was an advertising insert containing a DVD copy of the documentary, "Obsession: Radical Islam's War Against the West". You can go to FrontPage Magazine to read my review of the movie.

Even before the newspapers began hitting the porches of Central Ohio homes, Islamic extremists upset with the DVD distribution began a campaign to attack the Columbus Dispatch for allowing the distribution campaign.

Poole reports that Hany Saqr, chairman of the Noor Islamic Cultural Center in Hilliard, sent an email to supporters demanding that they contact the Dispatch to express their disapproval with the distribution of the DVD.

Read the rest of the report here.

Here is the contact information for the Dispatch if you'd like to contact them and congraulate them for having some cajones:

I plan to email my support. Of course, if it wasn't for the advertising dollar, the local fishwrap wouldn't give a hoot about islamic terrorism.

Obama: Baby-killing change you can believe in

This is all water under the bridge if you're an educated conservative, but I have to bring it up again because of a guest on Glenn Beck show this morning (and last week on CNN).

Like another recent guest invited to discuss record of the obamessiah, the hussein campaign tried to derail David Freddoso's appearance on WGN radio's Milt Rosenberg show this past Monday. This time the WGN staff was ready for the onslaught and were able to filter out most of the hate-spewing nutjobs.

Fredoso is author of "The Case Against Barack Obama: The Unlikely Rise and Unexamined Agenda of the Media's Favorite Candidate" released in August. I read the book, and it was frightening. The book doesn't go as far as saying hussein is a manchurian candidate, but he does document the obamessiah's past associations, his lack of a real track record as a politician, attorney, law student or community organizer. Obama is a big ZERO.

What is most frightening is the fact that obamessiah voted against preventing the death of babies born after an attempted abortion as a member of the Illinois legislature.

FREDDOSO: Well, this is the story of the Born Alive Infants Protection Act and it goes back to a hospital in the southwest suburbs of Chicago called Christ Hospital where they were performing on a regular basis induced labor abortions and these are late second, early third trimester abortions in which the drugs are given to the mother to induce violent labor and the baby is usually killed in the contractions and comes out. But about 15 to 20% of the time this produces a a live baby is born, I should say. And sometimes the babies will live just for a few minutes, sometimes for several hours. But this hospital was not giving any thought to medical treatment for them when they survived and could have potentially lived on and saved in incubator under whatever sort of medical technology we have to keep premature babies alive. They were simply shelving them and

GLENN: Hang on just a second. I just, I don't care how you feel about abortion. If you think abortion is a right, you know, a woman's right to choose, et cetera, et cetera, fine. I disagree with you. We're going now to a step of partial birth abortion. Now people are not for partial birth abortion. The vast majority of people. They are pro choice but they are saying you can't take the baby and have them birthed all the way except for the head and then suck the brains out while the head is still in the mother. That is a that is a step way beyond. And Republicans and Democrats agree on that. This is something further than that. This is a baby that survives an abortion and is living outside of the mother, is now just neglected and dies from neglect. Right or wrong, David?

FREDDOSO: This is what yeah, that is exactly what was happening and, in fact, that fact isn't even in dispute. What is in dispute is exactly what condition that they were being left to die in. According to the nurse, Jill Stanek whom I interviewed for the kids against Barack Obama, they were one of the places they would put these babies to die while they were struggling is the utility closet where medical waste goes. According to the hospital they were putting them into comfort rooms where they would just simply leave them to die with a blanket or something. So that was the practice. And the attorney general of Illinois told Jill Stanek, this nurse, that this was not violating the law, that they couldn't do anything about it and, you know, all protestations to the contrary, there wasn't any law protecting these babies because the attorney general of Illinois wasn't you know, he absolutely said, you know, no, you would need a new law if you wanted to do this.

GLENN: David, why couldn't you, why couldn't the doctor just kill the baby once the baby was born?

FREDDOSO: Well, I mean, I would say that's murder. I mean, I'm also pro life. GLENN: Got it. No, I'm not talking about your opinion. I'm talking about the law. It would indeed be murder if they would have killed the baby once the baby was born.

FREDDOSO: Well, of course, and even this practice itself strikes me as murder because you don't actually have to stab someone through the heart to commit murder.

GLENN: I understand that.

FREDDOSO: You can certainly leave them, there's such a thing as negligent homicide as well. But in any case, there wasn't a law protecting them and that was what they went to the Illinois legislature to do was to pass a law that would define anyone who is already born and alive as a person. And that would have made the laws of the State of Illinois apply to these premature babies.

GLENN: How did Barack Obama stop it?

FREDDOSO: Barack Obama was the only state senator to speak against this law and

GLENN: Sorry. Repeat that, please.

FREDDOSO: He was the only state senator to speak against this law on the floor of the Illinois Senate. (emphasis CTD)

GLENN: Okay.

FREDDOSO: In all the times it came up, in fact, he was the only one to speak against it. And his speech that he gave is very interesting, and I've given it in full in Chapter 10 of The Case Against Barack Obama because the argument is basically this, that if we go and recognize premature babies born alive in what some people call a previable condition, although they were clearly living for a while, if we do this, then it might down the road affect the right to abortion. It might cause it might create some kind of

GLENN: Slippery slope that they always say doesn't exist.

FREDDOSO: I'm sorry?

GLENN: A slippery slope that liberals always say doesn't exist.

FREDDOSO: Exactly.

GLENN: He was using that argument.

FREDDOSO: And that was his argument was essentially a slippery slope argument. His argument on the floor, it had a few contradictions in it, didn't quite make sense. I mean, he used the word "Fetus" to describe a premature baby for a moment and then corrected himself.

GLENN: All right.

FREDDOSO: But, you know, by his argument you could also say that a premature baby who wasn't born in an abortion, who was just simply born premature. I have a friend who recently gave birth to a premature baby and by his argument you would have to question or deny their personhood as well, as though they are somehow less persons than babies carried nine months.

GLENN: So the first time did he sign the bill?

FREDDOSO: The first time he voted present on the bill, which is in the Illinois legislature is equivalent to no. And it was part of a strategy that he had devised with Planned Parenthood lobbyists.
Barack Obama, baby-killer: change you can believe in.
UPDATE: From a fairness pespective, I just wanted to mention that I did also read hussein's own book this summer (I don't want to link to it or name it to give it any weight in the search engines). Boring self-adulating drivel.
I personally think he's a sociopath because he never had a strong father figure in his life. He will step on anyone, anything, anytime, to further his perverted anti-American agenda. Including babies.

obamessiah: don't show me with law enforcement officers

In a comment posted at the Jawa Report, a poster cites an incident in Michigan where hussein doesn't want to be seen with police officers:

I hope the following isn't too long. It's from an email I got from a fellow LEO (retired) showing Obama's attitude towards those in uniform.

"To all, I have read all of the emails from not only some of the MTOA board members, but from other Law Enforcement & Military personnel about Barack Obama's rudeness and what seems to be disgust for basically anyone in uniform.

Well, it's my turn to add to the list of emailers and here it is: So members of the Calhoun County Sheriff's Department, MSP, and other local agencies inside Calhoun County are working with Secret Service in the security of Mr. Obama. Mr. Obama's bus arrives in Battle Creek and pulls into the stadium area. Before Mr. Obama exits the bus, he has the Secret Service get off and tell all Law Enforcement personnel in uniform that they now have to stand behind the bus so Mr. Obama is not seen with anyone in a Law Enforcement uniform before he gets off or while in the public view. So, everyone from MSP, Sheriff's Dept., and other agencies looks at each other for a brief second, goes and stands behind the bus out of sight so Mr. Obama does not have to see, or been seen with, what to him is 'undesirables' since he refuses to been seen or even acknowledge Military or Law Enforcement. At a time of war and terrorism in our world, this presidential candidate who is being protected by various branches of the military &law enforcement at the tax payers expense, refuses to acknowledge, be seen with, have in his photographed background, any type of Military or Law Enforcement in uniform.

But this is not in the media or headlines in the news. Why? I wonder what the story or media frenzy would be if it was muslims, blacks, whites, jews, or any other race, gender, religon, and/or occupation, that Mr. Obama refuses to be seen with or have around him.

Why would Law Enforcement branches make this up? Law Enforcement traditionally has had more funding under Democrats.

Just food for thought leading up to November 4th.

For the liberals in the audience, LEO means law enforcement officer.

Three thoughts:

One, hussein has dissed the muslims before (see this article from mlive.com) when he refused to let muslim women wearing Khimar, or scarves, sit behind him during a speech in Michigan. He'll throw anyone under the bus that doesn't serve his prurient campaign interests.

Two, hussein backed out of a scheduled visit with injured soldiers in the military hospital in Landstuhl, Germany during his world tour in the summer when told he could only bring two senate staffers and no campaign people or cameras.

Three, being seen with 'the man' would make hussein look bad in the eyes of his base.

Not ready to lead. Indeed.

Fitna: The Movie that riles islamofascists

This video has been banned by several major internet providers, most notably Network Solutions and

**UPDATE** Sorry about that. Lost power in the middle of my post.

The video was banned by Network Solutions and Liveleak.com, for different reasons:

From the Everything2 blog:

The American Internet service provider Network Solutions announced today that it had suspended the film's official website www.fitnathemovie.com while they were, " investigating whether the site's content is in violation of the Network Solutions Acceptable Use Policy." A Network Solutions spokesman said that company guidelines prevent it from allowing "any material in violation of any applicable law." The Network Solutions' terms of service include a prohibition against "objectionable material of any kind or nature." A Network Solutions spokeswoman Susan Wade said "We felt it was best to take it down while we continued our investigation."

...the British Internet hosting service that originally posted Fitna for public viewing succumbed to "serious" threats and removed it from their site. According to LiveLeak.com:
"Following threats to our staff of a very serious nature and some ill-informed reports from certain corners of the British media that could directly lead to the harm of some of our staff, LiveLeak.com has been left with no other choice but to remove 'Fitna' from our servers. This is a sad day for freedom of speech on the Net, but we have to place the safety and well being of our staff above all else. We'd like to thank the thousands of people from all backgrounds and religions who gave us their support. They realized that liveleak.com is a vehicle for many opinions not just for the support of one."
Typical.

Sharp comparison of Palin vs. Obama Gibson interviews

In this commentary from the Journal of Feminist Insight comes this insightful review of the Gibson interviews: Palin and Obama.

I compared Charles Gibson’s interview of Palin with his interview of Obama and there is much evidence that Gibson was prejudiced against Palin. He interviewed Obama right after he became the presumptive presidential nominee and he interviewed Palin shortly after she became the vice presidential nominee. So the situation of the interviews is similar. And because the situation of the interviews is similar Gibson’s extreme prejudice against Palin is very obvious.

For example, Gibson asked Obama a lot of questions focused on the positive aspects of Obama being a champion and breaking a glass ceiling for African Americans. Yet he didn’t ask Palin about her potential of breaking the infamous glass ceiling and the benefits that would create for women who are a much larger percentage of the U.S. population than African Americans.

Furthermore, Gibson often questioned Palin’s ability to lead, but he never questioned Obama’s ability to lead. This is outrageous because Palin has more political executive experience than Obama and far more political accomplishments. Another reason why it was prejudiced for Gibson to question Palin’s ability to lead and not Obama’s ability to lead is that Palin is seeking the much less powerful job of VP. And to add insult to injury Gibson even asked Palin if it was conceited of her to accept the vice presidential nomination, yet he did not insult Obama with that question even though Obama is applying for a much more powerful job.

Also Gibson maintained an almost constant sour face when interviewing Palin and his tone of voice seemed to imply that he was disappointed in her. I haven’t watched the entire Obama interview but the part I watched showed Gibson with a pleased expression on his face and the transcript shows that there was frequent laughter during his interview with Obama.

Even the camera angle was designed to be prejudiced against Palin. She is filmed from the side and slightly with her back to the camera. Although there are close ups of her face the long shot shows her back to the camera. It seems filming her with her back to the camera was meant to make her appear less likeable. In contrast, the film crew placed the long shot camera facing Obama so at all times when he is speaking the camera looks him in the face rather than looking at his back.

And Obama was asked much easier questions mostly about feelings about winning, breaking the glass ceiling and 2008 campaign decisions. In contrast, Palin was asked numerous specific policy and military strategy questions that required extensive knowledge about treaties, U.S. anti-terrorism strategy and world history. And Gibson misquoted Palin falsely stating that she said our troops were in an alleged holy war when what she said was that she prayed that we were doing God’s will.
I was particularly annoyed with Gibson asking a question repeatedly, as if he were digging until he could embarrass Saracuda into a gaffe. She was brilliant in her reponses.

An interesting comparison are the questions asked of Obama and Palin.

Obama interview:
How does it feel to break a glass ceiling?
How does it feel to win?
How does your family feel about your “winning” breaking a glass ceiling?
Who will be your VP?
Should you choose Hillary Clinton as VP?
Will you accept public finance?
What issues is your campaign about?
Will you visit Iraq?
Will you debate McCain at a town hall?
What did you think of your competitor’s [Clinton] speech?

Palin interview:
Do you have enough qualifications for the job you’re seeking? Specifically have you visited foreign countries and met foreign leaders?
Aren’t you conceited to be seeking this high level job?
Questions about foreign policy
-territorial integrity of Georgia
-allowing Georgia and Ukraine to be members of NATO
-NATO treaty
-Iranian nuclear threat
-what to do if Israel attacks Iran
-Al Qaeda motivations
-the Bush Doctrine
-attacking terrorists harbored by Pakistan
-Is America fighting a holy war? [misquoted Palin]
Read the entire article here. Kudos to the 'feminist' who wrote this piece. Obviously a real woman, not a mouthpiece for the liberal establishment.

Totally missed in this opinion piece is how the original airing of the interviews on September 11 were edited to cut her answers short and make her less appealing.

At least the Leftmedia doesn't pretend to be objective anymore.

Q: Does David Letterman spit or swallow?

I used to be a David Letterman fan, but I'm done.

The obamessiah is on Letterman tonight, and Oh. My. God.

Could Letterman possibly be a bigger suckup? He practically strapped on the kneepads and started slurping the minute hussein showed up.

I've seen Letterman fawn over hot girls, slobber over cute guests, etc. That pales in comparison. And it appears Letterman was given his talking points by the obamessiah campaign.

Let's hope hussein at least gives Letterman a reach-around. Doubt it.

NY Post: Why obamessiah is flailing

According to this article at the NY Post website today, the hussein campaign is falling flat because the obamessiah has never had to win a real election:

IF it suddenly seems like the Obama campaign doesn't have any idea what it's doing, maybe that's because it doesn't.

Barack Obama has never run a campaign against a real Republican. And his main strategist, David Axelrod, is way out of his areas of expertise.

Axelrod specializes in urban politics. He's run a bunch of mayoral races (usually in cities with lots of blacks), plus contests in true-blue states like Massachusetts and New York.

And his favorite guns may well misfire now.

Sounds reasonable. Obama cheated fellow democrats in his first state senate election by getting ALL the competition thrown off the ballot for not having enough legitimate signatures on their registration petitions. He won his Senate race with an October surprise on his republican competition, conveniently getting the other candidate's divorce papers publicly released to kill the poor schmoe's chances.

I think hussein is clueless. His arrogance and lousy delivery are going to sink him.

Olbermann ousted as MSNBC political anchor

It seems even the lefty nutjob Olbermann was catching too much hell for airing his political views during the past couple of weeks.

MSNBC tried a bold experiment this year by putting two politically incendiary hosts, Keith Olbermann and Chris Matthews, in the anchor chair to lead the cable news channel’s coverage of the election.

That experiment appears to be over.

After months of accusations of political bias and simmering animosity between MSNBC and its parent network NBC, the channel decided over the weekend that the NBC News correspondent and MSNBC host David Gregory would anchor news coverage of the coming debates and election night. Mr. Olbermann and Mr. Matthews will remain as analysts during the coverage.
I've never seen anyone as blatantly liberal as Herr Olbermann. Unfortunately, he'll still be on MSNBC, just won't play as large a role.

If a conservative host had said some of the things he's said during a so-called "newscast" they would have been fired. Period.

Same old, same old.

UPDATE: I meant to attribute this article to the NYTimes.

ISNA illegally endorses Obama campaign

As reported by Patrick Poole's Central Ohioans Against Terror blog, the Islamic Society of North America is said to have endorsed the obamessiah for POTUS during their convention here in cowtown Labor Day weekend.

The Islamic Society of North America (ISNA) is a 501c3 tax exempt organization. As is true for any 501c3 entity, especially a religious organization, ISNA is prohibited from hosting or supporting any partisan political activity (emphasis CTD). And yet at their national convention here in Columbus last week, ISNA hosted an Obama campaign booth in their exhibitors’ area as this picture taken on Friday night shows:

As Poole points out in his post, a group of 'nonpartisan' pastors complained several years ago when local pastors reportedly endorsed political candidates from their pulpits. Where are they now?

Non-existent, of course, when the message being disseminated matches theirs. These 'pastors' were only interested in quieting any conservative voice, not the separation of church and state.

Apparently, video will be posted of the illegal endorsement by ISNA shortly. I'll update as soon as the video is available.

Libertarian VP candidate: Obama, release your grades!

In an interesting post at Reason yesterday, Libertarian party VP Candidate Wayne Allyn Root claims he attended Columbia at the same time as hussein, but nobody remembers hussein:

Wayne Allyn Root: I think the most dangerous thing you should know about Barack Obama is that I don't know a single person at Columbia that knows him, and they all know me. I don't have a classmate who ever knew Barack Obama at Columbia. Ever!

...maybe he was involved in some sort of black radical politics.

...Maybe he was too busy smoking pot in his dorm room to ever show up for class.

...Class of '83 political science, pre-law Columbia University. You don't get more exact than that. Never met him in my life, don't know anyone who ever met him. At the class reunion, our 20th reunion five years ago, 20th reunion, who was asked to be the speaker of the class? Me. No one ever heard of Barack! Who was he, and five years ago, nobody even knew who he was.

...I don't know! I didn't know him. I don't think anybody knew him. But I know that the guy who writes the class notes, who's kind of the, as we say in New York, the macha who knows everybody, has yet to find a person, a human who ever met him. Is that not strange? It's very strange.
Root is challenging the obamessiah to release his grades, saying he probably got into Harvard Law because he was black. Horrors!

...here's the moral to the story... I had a B-plus, A-minus average at Columbia University, in four years. When I graduated, I took the LSATs and I did well. I didn't do great, I did well; B-plus, A-minus average. My counselor at Columbia said don't even bother applying to Harvard Law School, because you can get into any law school in the country with your record, except Columbia, Harvard, Stanford, Princeton [Editor's Note: Princeton doesn't have a law school]. Except for the very top, you can get in anywhere, but don't even try those, because your grades don't cut it.

...and he got in based on the color of his skin.
Does anyone doubt that possibly Barack could have gotten into Harvard with a C average because he's black, where as I, white, couldn't get into the same school with a B-plus, A-minus average? And yet his wife says that America is a terrible nation unfair to minorities! I say, Au contraire!

I say the whole problem with America is we are racist against people because of the color of their skin. We're helping people because they're black. We're helping people because they're minority. We're helping people because they're poor. In reality only those who have the most skill and talent should get into Harvard, not because of the color of their skin.
Can't imagine that happening, not in God Damn Amerikka!

TV Week: McCain's Numbers Beat the Obamessiah

In an article at TV Week, early results appear that boring old man John McCain's speech out-pulled the obamessiah in tv ratings:

Presidential candidate John McCain's acceptance speech at the Republican National Convention drew more television viewers than his rival Barack Obama attracted at the Democratic party's event last week, according to preliminary ratings from Nielsen Media Research.

Across all broadcast networks Thursday, Sen. McCain’s speech ended the night with a 4.8 rating/7 share, compared to Sen. Obama’s 4.3/7 average, according to overnight numbers from metered households in 55 U.S. markets measured by Nielsen. These ratings are preliminary, however, and are subject to change.

NBC’s coverage of Sen. McCain’s speech started directly at the tail end of the opening game of NFL season, with the speech pulling in a 6.3 rating/10 share, topping Sen. Obama’s speech last week by 26%. That lead-in may have boosted audiences who last night turned out in droves to watch Republican VP candidate Sarah Palin introduce herself to the country.

ABC’s showing of the McCain speech averaged a 4.5/7, down 2% from the same night of the Democratic convention last week, while CBS’ coverage took in a 3.4/5, an increase of 3%.
No surprise here. After the bump of Sarah'Cuda, I was expecting this. Outstanding.

Michelle Obama's Radical Boot Camp

An article today at IBDEditorials.com describes how the obamessiah and his USA-loving wife founded and plan to expand a brainwashing bootcamp program into a brownshirt youth corps.

Barack Obama was a founding member of the board of Public Allies in 1992, resigning before his wife became executive director of the Chicago chapter of Public Allies in 1993. Obama plans to use the nonprofit group, which he features on his campaign Web site, as the model for a national service corps. He calls his Orwellian program, "Universal Voluntary Public Service."

Big Brother had nothing on the Obamas. They plan to herd American youth into government-funded reeducation camps where they'll be brainwashed into thinking America is a racist, oppressive place in need of "social change."
Just what we need. Another generation of "community organizers" running for office with no experience in the real world, heads in the clouds of Marxist ideals.

A quick look at Public Allies website reveals some interesting detail:

Public Allies is a premier pipeline for developing diverse young nonprofit and community leaders, and we prepare leaders and organizations to lead more effectively for our changing times.

We serve communities today, while developing better leaders for tomorrow. By cultivating new leaders and a new kind of leadership, Public Allies invigorates the public life of our communities. When citizens learn, practice, and share these values, they engage more community members, unite people across social boundaries to work for the common good, create more effective and responsive solutions to social problems, and ultimately build a more just society for all.
No doubt a more "just society" mean more public money (our hard-earned tax money) going to "people of color" without any return benefit (Obama's reparations in the form of public assistance and government healthcare programs).

"The first thing we do, let's kill all the lawyers"

Shakespeare may have been a bit ahead of his time, according to a new article by rocker Ted Nugent posted at Human Events. In his "Sarah Palin Is My Girl" he expresses the thoughts many of us have -- there are too many lawyers in Washington. One would be too many, in my book.

We need fewer lawyers in Washington. Lawyers have created a masturbatory legal system by raping our justice system. It’s refreshing to see that neither Sen. McCain nor Gov. Palin is a lawyer. This could be a good start back towards an experiment in self-government. Count me in.
Attaboy, Nuge.

Palin made it clear that she is like the rest of us, noting how Fedzilla is bloated, broken, ineffective, and wasteful. Our professional politicians no longer work for us, but instead represent K Street bandit lobbyists. These scoundrels deserve our scorn, anger and contempt, and, quite honestly, a big, old pink slip, and Sarah appears to be the tough leader we seek to get the job done.

The level of disgust and distrust across America is appalling and, I believe, unprecedented. A recent poll indicated the Nancy Pelosi-led Congress’ approval rating is at an abysmal record low of nine percent. That it is even that high shows how clueless and disconnected the lunatic fringe is.

America needs more outsiders in Washington, D.C. now more than ever. We need more tough, standup hockey moms like Governor Sarah Palin. We need more ordinary Americans to springboard from small city councils to the halls of congress and beyond. We need welders, cops, teachers, ditch diggers, business people, construction workers, secretaries, auto mechanics, and guitar slingers to come to Washington, D.C. and replant the good old "We the People" tree.

Americans need to replace the professional politicians who have rigged and ruined the system to exclude ordinary citizens from participating in this experiment in self-government. My advice is to get angry and vote them all out. The professional punk politicians are the problem, not the solution.
Good reading. Read the whole article.

Sarah'Cuda Winged it: teleprompter broken during speech

From Redstate this morning comes this report saying the teleprompter didn't pause when it was supposed to during the 'Cuda's speech last night:

Halfway through Sarah Palin's speech tonight at the RNC, people following the speech noticed she was deviating from the prepared text.

According to sources close to the McCain campaign, the teleprompter continued scrolling during applause breaks. As a result, half way through the speech, the speech had scrolled significantly from where Governor Palin was in the speech. The malfunction also occurred during Rudy Giuliani's speech, explaining his significant deviations from his speech.

Unfazed, Governor Palin continued, from memory, to deliver her speech without the teleprompter cued to the appropriate point in her speech.

Contrast this to Barack Obama who, when last his teleprompter malfunctioned, was left stuttering before a crowd unable to advance his speech until the problem was resolved.

Sarah Palin. Winner.

As a Toastmaster and one who frequently has to give public presentations, I'm even more impressed now.

The lady has one more cajone than McCain and more than the obamessiah and hairplugs combined.

Unlike the lefty moonbats, we can laugh at ourselves

... and our pick for POTUS and VP. Enjoy. H/T Hot Air.

Debbie Schlussel: Wrong About Mrs. Mom

Debbie Schlussel seems to think she is the self-appointed defender of conservative values. In a column on her website this morning, she calls the Palins fake conservatives because of their untimely teen pregnancy and that Sarah should be the one at home raising the kids.

I will join the ranks of respectfully disagreeing with her on this issue. It's important that one biological parent is raising the kids, not a nanny or daycare.

I work out of my home, so I could be considered a house-husband (my wife works a full-time job) but I'm not giving up my testicles anytime soon. I can cook and clean with the best of them, but I also repair my own vehicles and go hunting with my gun and compound bow. I've never field-dressed a moose, but it sounds fun!

I don't think you can see the forest for the trees. The jury is still out on Palin's views of illegal immigration and islamofascism, but I suspect she'll have an impact on Juan McCain's views.
This is a victory for conservatives. Period. We need to go win the election and keep a dangerous man-child out of the white house.

There are plenty of other people to attack than one of our own. Save your vitriol for the messiah and the hairplug guy.

Sarah Barracuda: Slam Dunk

How could you not like the affable Sarah Palin, Republican VP candidate? Her speech tonight was brilliant, funny, entertaining, poignant... I think Joe Biden will have his hands full at the VP debate Oct. 2. Dhimmicrats better watch out.

Best line of the night:
"In politics, there are some candidates who use change to promote their careers. And then there are those, like John McCain, who use their careers to promote change."

Newsmax.com: Obama Had Close Ties to Top Saudi Adviser

On Newsmax.com today comes the disturbing news tying the obamessiah to the saudi royal family. Perhaps they even paid for his law school?

New evidence has emerged that Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama was closely associated as early as age 25 to a key adviser to a Saudi billionaire who had mentored the founding members of the Black Panthers.

In a videotaped interview this year on New York’s all news cable channel NY1, a prominent African-American businessman and political figure made the curious disclosures about Obama.

Percy Sutton, the former borough president of Manhattan, off-handedly revealed the unusual circumstances about his first encounter with the young Obama.

“I was introduced to (Obama) by a friend who was raising money for him,” Sutton told NY1 city hall reporter Dominic Carter.

“The friend’s name is Dr. Khalid al-Mansour, from Texas,” Sutton said. “He is the principal adviser to one of the world’s richest men. He told me about Obama.”

Sutton, the founder of Inner City Broadcasting, said al-Mansour contacted him to ask a favor: Would Sutton write a letter in support of Obama’s application to Harvard Law School?

“He wrote to me about him,” Sutton recalled. “And his introduction was there is a young man that has applied to Harvard. I know that you have a few friends up there because you used to go up there to speak. Would you please write a letter in support of him?”

Sutton said he acted on his friend al-Mansour’s advice.

“I wrote a letter of support of him to my friends at Harvard, saying to them I thought there was a genius that was going to be available and I certainly hoped they would treat him kindly,” Sutton told NY1.

Sutton did not say why al-Mansour was helping Obama, how he discovered him, or from whom he was raising money on Obama’s behalf.

al-Mansour's has troubling ties to many anti-American interests, including the Black Panthers and muslim finance organizations.

Although many Americans have never heard of Khalid Abdullah Tariq al-Mansour (his full name), he is well known within the black community as a lawyer, an orthodox Muslim, a black nationalist, an author, an international deal-maker, an educator, and an outspoken enemy of Israel.

Experience: Palin(VP candidate) vs. Obama (POTUS candidate)

A brilliant comparison of Palin vs. the Obamessiah, head to head at JustSayNoDeal.com seals the deal. This is a long list of comparisons on many subjects.

In particular:

Executive experience:
Palin:Governor for 2 years, Mayor for 10 years.
Hussein, zip.

Reactions to spouse's political success (from the candidates' spouses):
Palin: Quit 17-year BP Oil job when BP became involved in natural gas pipeline negotiations with wife's administration.
Hussein: Promoted and given 160% pay raise by University of Chicago hospitals within months of husband's election to US Senate; Employer received $1 million federal earmark, requested by husband after her promotion.

In current office because:
Palin: Upset sitting Governor in GOP primary due to public support for her efforts to clean up corrupt government establishment.
Hussein: Republican opponent, who was leading in the polls, was forced to leave race after unsealing of divorce records (shortly before the election - how convenient) exposed a scandal.

Hope and change, indeed. Read the entire article.
